All crimes show up on a background check, whether they are misdemeanors or felonies. What puts them on the list is the CHARGE, regardless of the outcome.

The items of interest to the one doing the check is whether there was a conviction or not (which is part of the record), and what was done about a penalty (which is also part of the record).

In some states there is a separation between a juvenile record (for misdemeanors only) and an adult record; felonies do not have a similar separation. A felony charge and/or conviction while a juvenile will STILL appear on the adult record.

If it happened before you turned 18, possibly not. Otherwise it can. If it happened more than say.. 10 years ago, it may not be considered but it really depends on who's doing the check and why.

It might not show up if you were arrested/fingerprinted for something if you weren't convicted of it in court or have a warrant for it. Also , if you were under 18 at the time, you have nothing to worry about.

The answer, as everyone has told you, and over numerous posting of the same question, is "it depends".

Don't keep posting the same question worded different ways to try to get an answer you like better.

Please stop asking this question over and over.

Were you convicted or did you plead guilty? It makes a difference.
