Now, I know that as a child I use to sleepwalk, I would never remember it, and my parents would tell me the stories all the time. I would only wake up if I went outside because of the change of temperature, otherwise I could walk through the entire house and not wake up. Hard to believe you could do what he did and not wake up or remember.

I keep hearing, even within the same answer! "it has nothing to do with being gay, it's about the law" as if he stole a bunch of money from tax payers, then, in the same breath following with "and he's been so anti-gay rights that it's hypocritical of him"
So, which is it? Is it the fact he broke a law that is not even a very serious crime? Or is it because he is a hypocrite?

Me and my ex husband have been divorced over 8 years. I have custody of the kids and have since remarried. My ex husband is about $5000 behind in back child support. Every time it is his weekend for the kids, he asks me to send food because he doesnt have any. We can barely afford to buy food for our family and then we have to send food to my ex. My ex can work but he refuses to look for work. He will work a job for like 2 weeks and then he quits after the Child support people find out where he is working. I called the child support office and was told as long as he makes a payment or tries to make a payment every 3 months, then there is nothing they can do about it. He is on probation with the child support office for non payment but it's non supervised, so nothing is done about making him pay. What should I do?

Civil unions between male couples existed around 600 years ago in medieval Europe, a historian now says.

Historical evidence, including legal documents and gravesites, can be interpreted as supporting the prevalence of homosexual relationships hundreds of years ago, said Allan Tulchin of Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

If accurate, the results indicate socially sanctioned same-sex unions are nothing new, nor were they taboo in the past.

“Western family structures have been much more varied than many people today seem to realize," Tulchin writes in the September issue of the Journal of Modern History. "And Western legal systems have in the past made provisions for a variety of household structures.”

There's been a big contraversy over adding hate crimes against Gays. Blacks and Religious groups want only hate crimes against and not by them acknowledged and Republicans don't seem to think that lynching Gays should even be illegal.

But isn't a crime a crime? And isn't hate hate? If hate for a group was the motivation for a crime, should it matter if the victim was black, gay, Lithuanian or a German tourist? (Ok, anybody in Europe will tell you that German Tourists have it coming, but still...

My take is that if the motivation was group hate, the added penalties for Hate Crimes should apply, period.

I know I'm crazy, but tell me whether I'm wrong.

Check out his police report. As near as I can tell, he swiped his hand under the stall a couple of times as a signal to an undercover cop that he wanted sex. So what? Why is that 'lewd conduct'? If he had been found naked in the bathroom, performing sexual acts in public, I could understand. But...arresting him for flirting? I love to see a hypocritical politician go down in flames as much as the next guy, but this sounds unconstitutional. Read the report, and tell me why this is an arrestable offense.

Is it correct to say that most reasonable people would put their docks and boat hoist straight out from the shore line to deep water and not on the angle of the property line? If everyone would go on the angle of their property the person down the line may not have any place to put their dock and some angles might run the opposite way and then there could be docks criss crossing one another. Is it correct to say that ones riparian rights out into the water is in a pie shape to the deep water or middle. Is there any where in our state laws that indicate that you should put docks out in the middle of your property, so that you wouldn't encrouch on the neighbors property bottomlands..
We are looking for some concrete evidence that would support what we have suggested above.

Yahoo claims it must obey local Chinese laws. I think it violated US laws and must be punished. US firms doing businesses overseas must obey local laws as well as US laws. Let's suppose it's not again the local laws in some nation to have sex with children, wouldn't you still be subject to arrest when returning to America if commiting such act?

I made up a contract with a computer programmer to do some work for me. I gave him a large deposit up front and didn't hear from him much after that. Our contract stated he had a certain amount of time to finish and he did nothing. I want to take him to small claims for the deposit back. I know from learning law that I can go after him for the difference it costs me to hire someone else and the money I lost from his programming not being completed on time. My question is does this still apply with just a deposit/partial payment or did I have to pay him the entirety of the agreement to pursue my money back and further losses?

My son's father has to be practically strong-armed by the Attorney General's office into paying his child support. They have threatened to revoke his driver's license, have put a lien on his home and have frozen a bank account of his to retrieve the monies owed to me. He owns his own business and is successful. He lives in a $200K home and has two practically new vehicles. His lifestyle is beyond your imagination. I have never withheld my son from him and have followed the custody order to a tee. He says "It's just a guideline we can follow if we want to."

What would you say to him about his refusal to pay child support and/or what do you think of this major lack of responsibilty? At one point he owed almost $10K!

Ok, so then why the peeking through the gap in the door to the stall? I don't do that when I am using a restroom.

Isn't the normal reaction when confronted with something to say "not guilty"? I mean I have never done anything to ever utter those words, but wouldn't that be what you would do, letting them have to prove the case against you?

♣♣
I guess I am just having a difficult time understand why so many in Political office cheat on their wives and/or husbands if that is the case. There stands the "wife" by his side, how did he explain his "peeking" to her?

Anyone have any input?

First: Why don't police have to have probable cause to pull you over, and disrupt your evening and make you take a breathalizer for just driving where they have one of the road blocks set up to check people.
Second: I am thinking of the M Vick case in particular here. If the police have a warrant for Drugs and don't find drugs but find dog fighting paraphenalia instead. How can they be allowed to go back and get a warrent for the dog stuff.
Third: If you tel the police you don't want them to search your car, how is that enough for them to get a warrent to search your car. and hold you their untill the warrent is secured. This allows police to make people miss flights, appointments, and other important events.
Thanks for the answers in advance
