It's the 1st Amendment that gives freedom of speech.
And the 1st Amendment, like most of the Bill of Rights, only applies against government regulation -- not against social pressure or private reactions.
The govt cannot compel you to be politically correct. But individuals can get upset with you if you aren't.

The 2nd amendment guarantees the right to bear arms; which of course is necessary as armed citizens guarantee that the government guarantees the 1st amendment which guarantees the right to freedom of speech.

It's the first amendment that protects freedom of speech. You don't have to be politically correct, but when you are its more tact and less ignorant sounding.

Don't you mean the 1st Amendment? In any case, the Libs only believe certain speech and thoughts should be protected. Everything else should be suppressed.
But here is a small piece of advice, get a copy of the Constitution and read it, many times. If you are going to discuss something, even if your basic premise is valid, confusing something basic leaves you open to other people poking holes in your argument without even being on target.
