Yahoo claims it must obey local Chinese laws. I think it violated US laws and must be punished. US firms doing businesses overseas must obey local laws as well as US laws. Let's suppose it's not again the local laws in some nation to have sex with children, wouldn't you still be subject to arrest when returning to America if commiting such act?

As a matter of fact, some people have been arrested and convicted upon return to the US for having sex with children in another country after the US closed the loopholed. To US laws, it is ILLEGAL to have sex w/ children overseas. Back to the issue of Yahoo, if US laws outlaw aiding another country in oppressing democracy no matter where it happens, Yahoo should then be found in violation. We are not trying to supersede other countries' laws here. Companies can choose not to do business to avoid violation.
