Is there a good registry other than the AKC that I could register her with. She is a purebred pom, but her parents and litter aren't registered and the pet store said there is no way I can get her registered.

He is a small dog and only 4 months old. He has started eating his poop and licking up his pee. We are still working on potty training him to puppy pads, its been a hard battle. But now if he poops he will eat it, its so gross. Anyone have any tips on how to break this habit ?? Also tips on potty training him, I will be using just puppy pads. Thanks!!!

I have an American Bulldog puppy and she is 3 months old. She has runny eyes quite often which are forming light tear stains. It is mostly clear and fliud like water, but every once in a while there is some gooey discharge. Is this normal? If not, is there anything I can do for her eyes until I can get her to a vet? Thanks!

I want to get a new puppy. I have done some research, but not too much. Two dogs I have in mind are the Bichon Frise and West Highland White Terrier. There is a whole list of dogs I have stored on my computer, but We have a large house with a large backyard and and medium sized front yard. We live near a park, so I can give the dog a walk to the park 3-5 days a week. The youngest child in the house is 10 years old, but can handle a dog. We own already a 4 year old cat and a 6 year old Shih-Tzu. I am in Middle School, but can handle the responsiblities of a dog. I will be gone part of the day, though. My mom will be home most of the day though. I do need a dog that is small. I would prefer one that is small enough to fit in a dog carrying kennel or purse or can wear some dog designed clothes on occasion. Tell me about the abobe dogs, or suggestions of other dogs. I love mixed breeds, by the way.

smelled a very terrible scent (fishy). Do male dogs spray when they are scared? I've never encountered anything like this before and what can be done to have it never happen again other than for me to be more graceful around him.

I have a toy fox terrier puppy and I would like to fence in my yard. My questions are:
How tall does the fence have to be to prevent this breed from being able to jump over?
Can they climb chain link?
What are the best ways to avoid digging under?
I would like solutions other than invisible fences and things like that. Whatever you can give me that is helpful, I appreciate.

it sounds like she's gaging on something lol. But she hiccups ever 5 secons and then a couple days later she does it again ? Is this normal ? She doesn't do it alot it is as often as a human does it ?

He is 4 1/2 months old and has been hacking a lot lately like he is going to throw up something, but nothing ever comes out. He had diarrhea once today. He also seems kind of lethargic, i dont know if it's my imagination or just part of him growing up. He is also up to date on all his shots. Any advice?

i have a 7 month old reverse brindle boxer. i am located in houston, texas and i am wondering if anyone can help me out.

i need a male white/black boxer between 8 months - 2 year. I need one QUICK because my boxer will be the healthiest between 8 and 9 months old.

i already googled and didn't come up with anything. please help as my boxer is in desperate need of a boyfriend. lol.

ok. I just posted this: I took my dog to the vet like 2 weeks ago for a vaccine (rabies). Yesterday I felt a small mass just before his knee. Could this be caused by the vaccine or should I be worried?. I know I have to take him to the vet. I just need to save some money. The mass is soft and it does not causes him any pain. What could it be?

I forgot to tell you that soon after my dog received the vaccine he started to vomit and pooing with blood and had fever. I gave him a pill to kill parasites (don't know haw it is called). He is now ok. He stopped vomiting and the bloody poo. Could all this things be related?

what kind of problems am i going to encounter in the future as a result of this. i just got it today and it seems content so far. just wants to sleep. it is a german sheppard, rotweiler mix. i just dont want to encounter any future problems...also my roommate is thinking about getting a puppy. is this a good idea considering my situation ?

My Shih Tzu is almost 3 months and he has crystal blue eyes. Is this normal or very rare? Everyone keeps telling me how unique he is when i take him out. Other Shih Tzu owners, Pet store employers, Groomers and the Vet all said that they have never seen a Shih Tzu with blue eyes before.Will his eye color change or will it stay the same.
