ok. I just posted this: I took my dog to the vet like 2 weeks ago for a vaccine (rabies). Yesterday I felt a small mass just before his knee. Could this be caused by the vaccine or should I be worried?. I know I have to take him to the vet. I just need to save some money. The mass is soft and it does not causes him any pain. What could it be?

I forgot to tell you that soon after my dog received the vaccine he started to vomit and pooing with blood and had fever. I gave him a pill to kill parasites (don't know haw it is called). He is now ok. He stopped vomiting and the bloody poo. Could all this things be related?

by mass im assuming you mean under the skin, if by chance its on the surface- like an abcess or sore- then look into vital force. when your dog has an illness and his body sheds the illness its sometimes in the form of an abcess, bloody poo, skin eruption, strong dog smell, dark pee either on the lower end of arms and legs or on the back half of his body. and its natural- but if its under the skin it should be looked at. you have time to save some money, shouldnt be urgent. look into pet insurance. its like 12.95 a mo and it covers like people insurance. normally with like a 100.00 deductible

If the antiparasitic knocked out the bloody poo and the vomiting has stopped, they aren't related and should be ok but keep a close eye on it just in case it returns. The mass may be related to the vaccine. If that is the spot they gave it in it may just be a collection of the med under the skin. If they gave him the vaccine in another location, he may have a small tumor. These are fairly common in dogs, as long as it is somewhat soft and moves freely, there probably is not much to worry about. If it is really hard and does not move freely, you may need to take him back to the vet.
