Yay-i actually get to answer before the millions of others!Here is the quiz i took-it really does work!!!

Just answer 10 easy Q and they will give you some breeds,the Q are like the age-amount of grooming-indoor/out door,how good of a watch dog,friendlyness ext!!They will be in order-so a 99 would work better than a 77.....ext.
Plus it from animal planet so you can research the pet and go onto pet finder and adopt a homeless one!Why BYE WHEN ONE WILL DIE?

Try the American Kennel Association, they have quiz just for that.

They will also give you the characteristics of the dog itself.
Good for you for being responsible and informed before getting your pet! Others should take note.

Well I dont know of any websites but you should pick one that you like and can fit to your lifestyle. Like if you like big dogs and like to exercise get a German Shepard. If you like the snow and like active dogs get a Siberian Husky or an Alaskan Malamute. If you like to play and hunt get a beagle or a basset hound. If you want a lap dog get a Irish terrior or a scotish terrior.

Once you have decided what breed of dog you want, go to http://www.petfinder.com to look for dogs in your area (of the breed you want) up for adoption in shelters.
