Dogs - February 2007

He's a tiny little Yorkshire Terrier. He's not eating, seems to be a bit gassy and has a history of getting sick due to not eating enough. Any clues how to get this little dog to eat?

The vet gave me some gel to use but it is very hard to get her to stay still long enough to apply it. Someone told me that "Artificial Tears" would be ok to use and would be much easier. Is this true? It does not say anything about being ok for animals.

I have a female dog thats about a 16 mon. old. she is house broken however I have had some problems with her peeing in my house once in a while. it seems like it just hits her and she goes with no warning. I take her out and give her plenty of exercise....I was wondering if she might have some sort of bladder problem. She doesn't have any blood in her urine or anything but this is just unusal for her to do. thanks for your advise.

ok this is what happend i was asleep and it was this morning and all of a sudden my mom woke me up to take my little yorkie out her name was princess and when i was out ther these guys stopped in front of us and took my little princess and i screamed and chased after them on my eltric scotter while my dad was in the car and when my dad and i caught up to them they dropped princess out of the car and i rased to her and when i picked her up she was dead the strangled her to death and i got princess for my birthday 2 months ago and i know we dont know one another that much but she was my best friend and i cant get over loseing her.what should i do

5 people got out. 3 were rescued ( there were 8 people altogether), but someone brought their black lab. I had heard he fell, but was still alive. Does anyone know if they had rescued the dog when they rescued the 3 people. I sure hope so. It would be heartbreaking if they didnt. And why would anyone in their right mind bring a dog mountain climbing?

They say we need a test that cost a thousand dollars to find what he is alergic to. I cant afford that, he scratches constantly and loses his hair. Its not mange. The only things that have helped are steroid shots and antibiotics. The antibiotics will only work untill he becomes immune to them and the steroids will also eventually kill him. If anyone has any answers please share them.
