Are you supposed to wash the dogs head? My dog really doesn't like it but I do it anyway. Any advice appreciated

we mated our dog and the dog we mated him with was very close to giveing birth and when i saw the owner and asked if she gave birth he stated she miscarried he said she bleed and that he saw no puppys .i thought that was strange because she was very close to giveing birth .i guess i want to know if i got jerkrd

what are the best dogs for a household with kids? My kids are less than 5 years old, any ideas? Im looking for answers aside from a golden retriever and lab. I like small child friendly dogs. Any help would be appreciated!!!

his tongue turned blue. He was rushed to the vet, DOA.
2 weeks ago he was neutered. His vitals/surgery/recovery was routinely normal. What could have caused this to happen?

I feed all my dogs Innova EVO, though they all get a different kind. Kobe likes the original while Ryder prefers the Red Meat. Ace gets the low fat because he needs to loose a few pounds. [Due to lack of exersize and lots of table scraps from his previous owners.]

If your dog is doing something bad, is it okay to hit (I'm not saying I do) him/her? Like in the face, or on the behind? Or, even pretend like you're going to hit him/her? Because it seems like just saying "No!" isn't enough. If not, how do you punish your dog for doing something bad, in a way that they will understand that what they did was wrong?

with another male dog --to put it lightly..and hes 3 years old..if he is neutered will he stop this behavior? or do they have to be neutered by a certain age so that that behavior isnt ingrained?

thats not really my question but that seems to get everyones attention so here is my real q i have a dog i just got her about 4 wks ago she is great except for 2 problems one i am trying to crate train her because she pees like every 20 min and at night she will not sleep or let us sleep she paces around and whines all nite long and she pees and poops in her crate so what do i do to get her to sleep so we can get some rest? i have tried ignoring her i have tried to baby her i try to make her crate a safe place not a bad one and nothing is working i cant let her run lose at night because she will pee everywhere someone help. btw she is 3 yrs old and was use to being kept in a garage where she could pee where ever they just used her to breed...

always itches and becomes a little more red at usual at times. forms little itchy bumps. we've taken him to the vet, it isnt fleas and we have spent numerous amounts on changing his food and diet. the vet still doesnt have a clue. i dont think we've changed up our routine much or at all. anyone have any ideas?
