Yes, and ever notice how people converse in the vets office, even those who have never met each other seem friendly. Guess it's having a joyful part of our lives in common. So how many dogs do you have?

And have you ever noticed that when someone asks a REAL question, everybody keeps quiet? Have you noticed that? Why is it that all the stupid questions are getting 87 answers but the good ones go ignored? Could it be that most people here do not have any answers beyond "what is your favorite dog?" and what is a good name for my dog? HAve you noticed that?
PS. WOOH send me an email.

i haven't thought about it before, but now that you say it, yes i agree.
i think it was dale carneige that said something along the lines of he wished he could be a dog as no one makes friends like a dog b/c a dog is always genuinely and sincerely happy to see and greet you. to a certain degree i think it is true b/c, in my humble opinion, one thing that makes most everyone happy is a friendly dog approaching you with a happy face and a wagging tail.
dogs are great animals and people who have great dogs in the lives are happy to tell you about that dog. mine is porter and he is a 4 year old chocolate lab. he is the best dog in the world.

Similarities attract people and are great conversation starters. I wonder if the theory that correlates control and pet ownership is true, are we externalizing our desire to control by owning pets?
