I have 2 cocker spaniels and a basset. We have a fenced in back yard, but currently they are in a 10 x 10 pen during the day because they dig really deep holes in the yard when we're not home. I let them out at night to run, then they come inside to sleep. My husband has concrete set the posts to section off the back corner of the yard to allow them a 900 sq ft triangle section to run and play during the day, so they don't have to be in the little pen. I currently have a wooden pallet, water and food, a few chew toys, a rain cover and a dog house with a flap in the little pen. With the extra room, I could incorporate some "fun" things for them. I was thinking maybe a baby pool for the hot summer months. Does anyone have any ideas? He will be adding the chainlink next weekend, so anything big needs to be added before that.

she is a year old and has always eaten. we feed her science diet adult food....she has never done this before except when we first got her when she was about 12 weeks old....but she stopped it.

has a big ball on the back of her head, like if it's growing from inside of her skin! When he touches it the puppy doesn't cry or anything!!!! And I'm concerned! I wanna know what it is!!! if he's not taking her to the hospital then a will!! But I want to know what is it??? thanx

is it safe to use frontline on a 6 month old chihuahua puppy? I havent had a problem yet and know I will need to use it before summer comes but I am a little hesitent to use it just yet!!

I have A 6mth old toy poodle who needs help with house training we she usually goes to the door when she has to go outside and then we take her outside and let her do her "buisness" and then give her a bit of cheese but now she doesnt go to the door she just wee wees right in front of us looking at us we scold her while she is doing that and then we take her outside... and put her in her cage for being "bad" is there any other way that we can make sure she knows to go outside and not in front of us!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

my chihuahua was in heat...so my neighbor let his chihuahua over for about a week. i work all day so i didnt see if they mated or anything. how would i know if she is pregnant right away? are there any dog pregnancy test or anything?

All i'm looking for are tips to help the healing process. I'v had the dog 13 years and I dont know what to do without her. Theres now way I can replace her, atleast not for awhile. This sucks I miss her so much, what makes it even worse is, no one was here in her time of need, I feel aweful.

My 2 yr old dog absolutly HATES other dogs for no reason. When I take him for walks , if he sees another dog he goes wild! If he could he would attack the dog. We even bought a shock training collar and it works for basic things like drop it but when he sees another dog the shock wont even work. Any training tips?

My dogs live inside and sleep when we are at work.

They get walked several times a day and sometimes played with outside and inside (depending on mood of them and us).
After the evening walk and feeding, they go back to sleep and we do our tasks.

(FYI:They get expensive food, have their own beds, sleep in our bed, have tons of toys and treats.)

But I wonder if they are sad because they need more from us?
