Are you looking for something specific? the AKC site has good information and photos but it will only cover AKC breeds and there are hundreds of breeds not covered by AKc. Maybe if we knew more about what specifically you're looking for we could point you in a better direction.

you can look at each dog by name, or search for dogs that fit into specific categories (ie: light shedders, apartment suitable, high exercise demand). The only problem I do have with this site is it has "designer" dogs too, which is something I don't particularly agree with. But that aside, it has a lot of useful information!
