She's a small chihuahua puppy, around 2 lbs. She's now 4-months-old, and is the happiest thing in the world. Yesterday she ate some cooked shrimp my father accidently dropped in the backyard. I know because later that day there was vomit in her room. It was a bit hard and had shrimp tails sticking out of it. We figured she didn't like it and it came back, so we took her outside to eat some grass.
However, later that night she vomited again. It was a sticky liquid and kinda pale orange, the color of the shrimp she ate. We gave her some medicine and she was better. She ate this morning. But
around noon, she vomited again. It wasn't the food she ate. It was a sticky transparent liquid. We figure she still has some shrimp left, and won't stop until it's all gone.
My puppy is also really skinny. I'm afraid, because her mother is around 6 lbs and I can actually see a bit of her bone. They don't protrude much, but you can see them, even from far away.

Should I take her to the vet?

My puppy is 10 months old, and he was very well potty trained and we had very few accidents in the house; he went outside and barked when he needed to go outside. However, recently, he has taken to using our dining room as his potty place and keeps going to the bathroom there. We have had four accidents there already in a span of a week. It's strange, because we let him outside to eliminate and a few minutes later, he goes again in our dining room, though he was outside just a few minutew ago. What may be the cause of this and what can we do to stop it?

Okay, so here's the deal, every day when I go to school and my parents go to work she does her buisness in the house. Yes, she goes before we leave, and yes, she gets enough exercise ( I think ) and she has food and water every day. So my dad keeps yelling at me and tells me that we'll have to give her away, and I love her sooooooo much! please help me! why is she doing this, and how can I make it stop??

I looked at some puppies that were supposedly chow but they looked part black lab to me. The lady passed them off as American chows which she says are different from chinese chows. Is this true because I didn't buy it.

I recently adopted a lakeland terrrier and he has become after 4 weeks agressive at times and growled and snapped. Im wondering if it is worth it to try to correct it, do i just scold him, or what. He is 2yrs old , he jumps all the time although is very smart and responds well to commands. I don't want to give him back but I need to know what to do when he does this , I also dont want to hit him, I need him to stop so I dont fear he will bite strangers, he seems rather friendly with people.

thanks

One of my friends from the shelter I volunteer at told me that I should check out the Dog area here because it's fun. Ive been looking through questions and keep seeing someone being very mean and nasty to people. Whats up with that? Isn't this forum about dogs?

This is my first dog. Where can I buy this dog? Yes I have looked up the breed and the pedigree sites but none are in my area or state.

Also what kind of care and cost is involved with getting a puppy? How can I find out how to care for my puppy? What kind of shots and food do they need?

My rabbit lives in an area where my dog can't have access to her, but every once in a while we open up the door and my dog goes in and tries to attack her. My rabbit once got an injury because of this and almost died, but we took her to the vet and she's all better now. My dog is a labrador retriever, he's 2 years old, but he will not EVER give up on the rabbit! I need help!! I don't want to give up my rabbit OR my dog!! Please help me! I want them to be able to co-exist together peacefully.

Also, how long do you think it would take to train him to not attack my rabbit? A month or two?

She's actually my uncle's dog... I believe she's close to eight years old. She chews her leg raw and it appears to be infected. How do we get her to stop?!

I've heard that aloe vera is a good fix because it tastes bad... Is this true?

Hi...does anyone own or know anyone that has a Norfolk Terrier? I really love the terrier breed and after some research it looks as though the norfolk is the calmest of the terriers. My husband and I are going to start a family soon and we want a dog that is good with allergies and great with children. I used to have a Silky Terrier (lived 14.5 years) who I absolutely loved with all my heart but he was a little fresh. I never had an allergy to the Silky yet I have had allergies to other dogs (bichon and poodle)..go figure. So if anyone has info on the norfolk terrier, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:)

My 8 month old female German Shepherd is very very shy. Whenever she sees a stranger she hides until the person leaves. I walk her very often so she can get proper socialisation etc but she still acts like a 2 month old. In fact she don't even bark, instead she makes that squeeky puppy sound all the time. I plan to continue taking her on walks and constant socialisation around different persons, places etc but is this normal for an 8 month old German Shepherd to react so shy and immature?

and i have a 2 year old pug already....its seems that there are times when they play, lightly, and it gets more intense with time...but there are times...when the husky, out of no-where...will give a quick nip to my pug...right now the husky is too small to really make any kind of impact...but is this somethnig that should be strongly corrected, or is this just a possible passing phase?...

He is super aggressive to strangers... I have no clue how to fix the problem. I've been to training, behavioralists and doggy day care... nothing seems to work. After he knows the stranger for five minutes he will sit in their lap and love them to death... I don't get it... Any ideas?
