If the dam was rescued than it is likely that the dam did not have a registration in which case even though they are pure bred they will not have AKC registration papers.

Your dog is not going to be able to be registered with AKC.
You could get what they call an ILP registration. It allows your dog to compete in some events but not for conformation. And your pet needs to be spayed or neutered.
You pups litter would need to have been registered in order for you to get papers on your dog. Since the litter was not registered and you do not know if the mother was registered your pup is not going to be elidiglible to be registered.

Without the papers from your pup's mother the dog is not registerable in the AKC except as an ILP dog. An ILP can be used to enter your dog in performance events in the AKC but requires that the dog be spayed or neutered.
The question is, why do you need the papers? What are you going to do with the dog that requires it?

Sorry to say, no chance for you
The breeder would have the original puppy paperwork and if there is one, given to the original owner. You cannot get anything except the original.
Do you really need it? I have two AKC and never even sent them in as I have them "fixed". They are just my babies.

You can't. Rescue organisations don't like the dogs that have been rescued to be bred from and in fact normally spay/castrate them before rehoming.

Only the breeder of the pups can register a litter. If the sire or dam were unregistered then they would be unable to register the litter. So you won't be able to do anything.

The original owner would have the paperwork and is the only one who could ask for duplicates I'm afraid. This is if you are asking about AKC papers.

No, you will not be able to register her in a legit registry. In order to be registered both parents needed to be registered and the litter had to be registered.
