My dog ran away last weekend and made a visit to the shelter. Since she's been home, she's come down with a case of kennel cough. Is there anything I can do? Should I take her to the vet?

We got a coonhound from a rescue last week, and were just now examining her teeth. They look completely different from our other dogs. On the coonhounds teeth you are able to see black spots, like she has worn them down and you are able to see the pulp in the middle. All of her front teeth look this way, as well as her 2 big insisors on the side. What could this be from? Is this normal? Do you know a website with pictures of teeth to help us with determining her age? Thanks.

What is the oddest dog mix you've ever seen?
Alot of people told me I was cruel and stupid for inseminating a pit bull with a chihuahua, but I have actually had a number of people already asking if they can purchase one of them.... whatever they turn out to look like. I call it the Chi Bull.

I'd like to hear your ideas for future mixes.
Normally I just breed pits, but it is more interesting to make a dog unlike one anyone has had before.

I have a Year and a Half Pet Quality Female Red livernose. She could be shown except she has a kink in her tail which she was born with. I also have a Show\Pet Quality 6 Month Old Black Masked Male. He may be able to be shown, but we just have to see how he develops. He still has a lot of growing to do!

His skin is so dry that it looks like he actually has dandruff. He has not been neutered, and he is constantly getting hot spots. I have had him to the vet numerous times, and they give him antibiotics and antihistamines that help, but when the meds are done, it's back to square one. I would really like some advice from someone who knows about goldens and their special needs.
Thanks!

I'm in 9th grade and I've wanted to be a protection dog trainer since I was 5. I trained my GSD to do a lot of tricks. My parents want me to be a very rich investment banker but I don't really want to. How do I become a schutzhund trainer and start my own bussiness? How old do I have to be? What is school going to do? How do I tell my parents that I want to be a schutzhund trainer?

My potty-trained, 9 yr old Lab is all of a sudden having accidents. What is strange is that she will be lying there, sleeping. Then, when she gets up, there is a little "turd" for lack of a better word. This morning, she had stuff smeared all over her backside and tail. I washed her up immediately and while she was laying down, it happened again. I don't know what is causing this. She isn't telling me she has to go like she normally does. She isn't going a full #2 either, just a piece. It's weird. She obviously knows it's wrong, since I see her cowering in the corner as soon as she knows that I know. I feel it's something she can't help and not a behavioral issue. I have had her all 9 yrs and she is a perfect angel. I wonder what could be causing this. Any suggestions?

I adopted my dog from a shelter and she had all her shots. Even tho i've been to the vet previously i never took her to get her shots. Wat should i expect?

My dog, Judge, was adopted from the shelter back in October. He was overweight as his previous owner never walked him in the two months she had him. For a while he was losing weight gradually at a good pace. Now, however, he's become a lazy bum that sleeps on the couch most of the day, and I think he's getting some fat back. I am going to cut his food a little bit to what I used to feed him before I switched him, but I need help encouraging him to play a bit more and I need ideas for fun games to play with him. Any ideas? (He's three years old by the way, if that helps at all)
