In any breed of dog, the males tend to be a better choice. They are in general, more loving and attentive. The females can get cranky at times, where the males get territorial, but not against you, it's for you because they are protective of you.

Chihuahua Traits

There is a difference. I have 3 females and 2 males. And due to my personality and theirs, I prefer the females. The females are much more compliant to me and seem to be more sensitive emotionally. I can discipline one of my girls by simply saying "bad girl" and she is totally crushed and wants me to love on her.

My boys are a little more stubborn but they are smart. One of my males knows probably upwards of 50 words and tricks. The other male is an obedience dog. The boys posture at one another where my girls don't do that to each other or the boys.

What the owner of the one you are looking at may mean by docile is that the dog is a low energy dog, a couch potato. That's good if you like that kind of dog (I do). Meet this dog and make sure to spend some time with him before you decide. I know that when I sit down, I usually get three of the 5 in my lap (2 girls and a boy). The other two will sit at my feet if they can't fit in my lap/chair. I love all my dogs but the two who are most bonded to me are girls and the one who is most bonded to my dh is a girl. One of the boys is a family dog and the other goes with my older dd.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7fF

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

"Docile" is the opposite of 'aggressive'. That means the pup is less likely to be vicious or try to attack people, cats or other dogs.
Given the size of the dog, such attack is more likely to harm the dog than whatever he attacks.
Male Chihuahas are notorious for marking their territory (peeing on things). Female do not have this trait.
Both sexes are amiable, loyal dogs that can be trained for obedience.
If you get the male, stay on top of his peeing. With consistent discipline, you can train it out of him. Correct him whenever he starts lifting his leg by 'barking' out a loud "NO!", then taking him outside. Reward him as soon as he's outside so he learns that peeing is for outside, not inside.
NEVER hit your dog. He'll respond to a loud, bark-like sound coupled at first with aids like you physically removing him from the site of his disobedience. After a while, all you'll have to do is 'bark', then eventually he'll just not do that thing anymore.

I have a male Chi and I don't know about male versus female, but he's such a cupcake. We socialized him from day 1 with kids of all ages, little dogs, big dogs, doorbell ringing and he's great. I'm not afraid to take him anywhere. Enjoy him!

My different answer wasn't solid sufficient? ok, another fantasies i've got entertained: pegging dudes, bisexual MMF threesomes, rape fantasies, finding out to purchase intercourse and/or cruising and selecting up some commerce off the line, dressing up in male drag and selecting up a guy in the bathing room who seems to be bisexual and we've our way suitable there as a crowd gathers, being fisted, making love mutually as pressed up against the chilly glass window on the dazzling floor of a skyscraper overlooking a captivating clean city nightscape, mad scientist/serial killer/demented physician fantasies with reliable BDSM overtones, and lots extra.

i have a male chihuahua and i know how his sisters and mom act.
male: give kisses and are very loveable and usually dont like other men if they arent neutered and they lift their leg to pee if you dont neuter.

female: more scared of people they dont know and are loveble and also give kisses and when going through heat cycle they have blood every where so you might want to spay her.
