My poodle gave birth at 6:30 am this morning and she has not had the next puppy yet it's 10:27 a.m. now and nothing yet is that normal how much longer do I wait?

What is she doing? You may need to take her in right away. Have you tried letting the puppy she has nurse? That usually helps contractions along. Also some calcium may help, but you really may need assistance.

I'd get her to a vet asap. Its unusual for dogs to go longer than 2 hours between pups. If she has been having contractions but no puppy arriving for an hour then it is an emergency and get her to a vet asap. It could be that she has only the one pup but I would er on the side of caution and get her checked out straight away.

take her and the puppy to the vet there can be a problem or she just had 1 puppy but this is verry unlikely for a poodle to have one pup cuz usually they have about 6 or more!

it could take 2 days dont worry just keep an eye on her and make sure she does what she is suppose to do like cleaning them and stuff make sure she is comforted and she knows everything is ok i just had a dog that had 10 puppies and it took her from 9 in the morning until almost midnight

My weiner dog was in labor for about 5 hrs but we ended up loosing both of the puppies because one was huge & got stuck in the birth canal & he took all of the nutrients from the other puppy. But you might want to call your Vet & ask them. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

If you know there are more puppies, and there has been no progress 2 hrs after the last one was born , call the vet.
YOU'RE WAY BEYOND THAT CALL THE VET AND TELL THEM YOU ARE ON THE WAY........ DON'T MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, JUST GO !!!

There could be a problem with the delivery, check with a vet. Four hours is a little long.
