It could be a lot of things. My dog developed a large hard cyst that was a reaction to a leptospirosis vaccine, which eventually went away after 5 months. Better check with the vet.

The puppy may have a tumor or abnormal bone growth / calcification on the skull; or may be suffering from hydroencephilitis. We suggest taking it to the vet and having it checked out.

the only person who can know what it is for shure is the vets after an examination... at worst its a tumer or some sort of infection...
if its i dont know what big is so ill go with the biggest is like a large zit my husky always had worts on him they just disapeared if we didnt mess with them
also dogs have what i call "knoledge bumps"
they are a knob at the top of there skull there solid bone and you shouldnt worry about them but from what your discribing its not a knowledge bump.

TAKE IT TO THE VET!!! It could be something as harmless as a cyst or something more serious as cancer. Take her to the vet and have them remove the growth and test it. Although it's not hurting the pup, you are worried about it...and information rarely hurts anyone...hope she is ok!

without seeing for sure what it is, your best bet would take it to a vet. they can run the tests to figure out what is actually growing back there.
