It depends on parents/bloodlines, bone structure and height.

The average adult male Dane weighs from 140 -170# and is 33" - 36" but the range can go from 100# - 190# and 28" - 39"

A few dogs may be a little bigger.

not a very long living breed because all there health problems(due to how big they are)such as hip dysplasia,tumors,heart disease the average lifespan is 10 years but with good care some times 11-13 years

I had a small one, he weighed only 120lbs. I have a friend who has 2 and they both weigh almost 200lbs. EACH!

We saw one at the pet expo that was 215lbs! HUGE!
