No Kidding! My family and I had a wolf for 18yrs and he was the most faithful dog we ever had. And very protective!

Your statement is obsolete.. all dogs are a subspecies of wolf, therefore all dogs are wolves. Wolves are not dogs, rather dogs are wolves so saying your favorite type of dog is a wolf doesnt really make sense. No offense just thought id point out the error.
By the way my favorite type of dog is one who has a good home, a responsible owner and a long life as part of a family.. not out on the end of a chain or in a shelter waiting to be killed.

That's so funny, I always wanted a wolf when I was a kid. My favorite is Golden Retrievers. We have one, Dillon, he's 14 and blind in one eye now. He's the second Golden we've had and they are the most wonderful, loving, intelligent dogs on earth. I just love them.

I like mastiff breeds. Pit bulls, American Bulldogs, Bull mastiffs, Blue Blooded Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Neopolitan Mastiffs, Argenitine Dogos. I like the big lap dog types. I also like Boston Terriers.
o yeah, for the guy that said a wolf is going to kill you... Wolves naturally will rather run than fight. They aren't confrontational.

A wolf is not a dog. Nor is a coyote. They share the same genus, but they're different sub-species.
Mine would be a Boxer.

Akita, it looks an awful lot like a wolf, except its not going to kill you...but I have 2 dogs, my baby akita, 7 months old, enormous beast, pure blood, who is barking right now at an incoming squirrel that I see outside of my window...and a white wolf...not pure blood though, it has akita and husky blood, but it is a wolf... since his parents were Part akita and wolf and part husky and wolf...so its..wolf...and he is adorable, 9 months old...and soon, ill take him to training before he becomes evil...
