I have a 12 week old long coat chichuahua puppy, Blossom, that weighs 4 1/2 lbs right now. Dad was 4 1/2 lbs (was from 4th generation of champions) and mom was 6 lbs. Anyone have an idea of how much bigger she will be full grown? I adore her and will so at any weight, but was just wondering....

The male puppy is older, born 11/7 and the female puppy was born on 12/21. We have had the male for a week now and got the female last night. the male will take his mouth and loosely bite down on the back of the neck of the female. I say loosely becasue it does not seem to hurt her. He is almost twice her size and I am afraid that he will hurt her without meaning too. Is this normal for the husky breeds to do this. At times, he will try to bite down on her head becasue her head is so small. They are from different breeders. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

If you do, tell me.

I have a Doberman, Named hammer. he is my 11th dobie. I've been raised with dobermans, and they are the best breed ever! dont beleive me, then check out the stats..
I saved him from a shelter when he was 11 months old, he is pure bred, but his first owners couldnt keep him anymore because they already paid too much for him " a thousand dollars" and they didnt want to keep up with him, so they dropped him off at the shelter when he was 3 months old. he then was adopted agian at 9 months, but he got loose, but when the shelter picked him up, the second owners didnt want him, they said that he was too big and stalky, and they just didnt want him anymore, he was too affectionate. and they didnt have time for that. and when i came in to look for a dobe with my father, the shelter said he only had the weekend to live, it was friday! I adopted him immeadiataly. Now he is being police trained by me, bc all my dobes were. and now he is the best obediant dobie ever!

I recently adopted a 14lb 1 1/2 yr old Doxie/Corgi mix that has a bad case of fear based aggression towards people (not including my family) and large dogs! I want to socialize her with people! But I don't know the right way to go about it without her biting anyone! Please do not advise me to hitting her, I want this to be a positive experience! Thanks in advance!

I was walking my Bichon yesterday on his lead , a staffie came out of his garden and attacked him, I tried to get him off and was digging him on the head but he wouldnt let go , it was awful I have never been so terrified in my life , the owner came out and just trailed it off by the collar, lucky my dog seems to be ok, he has a few little cuts under his jaw and is sore I know I should have taken him to the vets but he's terrified of them, He's been very quiet today and isnt drinking or eating , he's hiding below the table and has to be coaxed out its as if he's done something wrong he seems very depressed ! I will go to the vets as a last resort. I treated him myself bathed him and cleaned out his cuts with saline and made him comfortable I he was a lively little dog before this do you think he's sore and wants to be left alone or should I just keep tending him Dont all say go to the vets because he's had a few horrible times in there due to illness .
