No. If your dog ate dark chocolate, more than a few pieces, or baker's chocolate call a Vet. If it ate milk chocolate, unless it ate a bag full he will probably be fine. Maybe he'll have some diarrhea. If he had bad diarrhea or vomiting or starts trembling definitely get him to a Vet.
I had a German Shepherd dog that ate a whole bag of mini chocolates , wrappers and all. She didn't get sick. The Vet said if it had been Baker's chocolate or if she was a small dog and ate that much he would be concerned.
In any case, contact your Vet and describe what and how much your dog ate.

There is no need to be worried about the dog after injesting chocolate. It will be fine. However you dont need to pay the expensice vet bills to get the chocolate out. Mix 1 teaspoon water and 1 teaspoon table salt together and give it to the dog. A syringe (without the needle of course) works best, but a baby med. dropper will work fine as well. Put it in the back of the dogs mouth and squirt. This will immediatly induse vomiting and get the chocolate out. No expensive vet bills. My father is a vet and uses, and reccommends this technique often. I have used it as well on my dogs, and its wonderful.

Where would you get this info?

If your dog ingested chocolates, call your vet. Have the wrapper handy so you can tell them how much cocoa is in the chocolate and how much the dog ate. They will advice what to do. Please don't give anything until then, especially eggs or egg whites.

I don't know about egg whites, but my dogs have never had serious effects from eating chocolate. It seems to upset their stomachs and sometimes they throw it back up, that's all. I've had several dogs and all of them have gotten into chocolate one time or another; one miniature poodle ate a whole chocolate easter bunny, and had no appetite for supper.

No. If you catch it in time you need to induce vomiting. If it has been more than an hour or 2 you may need to take your dog to the vet for supportive can. Chocolate can kill dogs in large enough doses
