Why would you give a dog mike and Ike's??? No they cant because i will get stuck in there teeth and fall out and if it is big enough they could choke on it!!!! It it not as serious as it sounds. Just never do it again. I don't mean to be mean but that is pretty stupid unless the dog got it then I'm very very very very sorry!!!!

Dogs are carnivores. Everything they need to sustain their body and digestive system is in a good bowl of dog food (or a steak). but by giving puppy mike & ikes you are basically giving it sugar, which is not the greatest idea, but probably no danger.

Definitely NEVER EVER give your dog chocolate. It is like poison to canines. Overall, skip the candy and hand out the occasional milk bone instead. Fido will be just as happy.

Sweets are not good for a dog. Some sweets are artificially sweetened and the substitute sweeteners can wipe out a dogs kidneys and liver. It's not a joke. If you want to give your dog something sweet, try giving it some cooked carrots or peas.

Don't forget canines need dental hygiene too. Dogs can get tartar build up from eating things. Sugar isn't good for humans, and it isn't good for aniamals either.

Empty carbs are not good for humans or dogs. Give the dog, healthy dog treats instead. Dogs have no need for sugar and will cause cavities, just like in humans.
