My daughter's dog was stolen a few weeks ago. She was a minature poodle. Sara has been grieving so much for her dog. But, I cannot afford to buy a dog from the pet store. I'm looking for someone who may want to give or sale a small dog cheap to a loving home.

My dog's a toy dog. I don't know exactly what breed she is, but she's long-haired. The father is a Miniature Pinscher. I'm worrying about her warmth and also comfort. They live in our garden, and I'm scared for both mother and pup because there might be snakes out there. Also, would it be okay if the father stayed with the pup and the mother? He doesn't seem to bother them or anything.

Mine does. He shakes like a leaf, and refuses to go outside. And then, what do you know, a storm arrives in just a few hours. I think he was struck by lightning in a previous life!! Tell me your stories! I'd love to hear!

I do not have a dog yet. I am looking in to adopting one. I found one, they said he is good with other dogs, but when i went to visit him, he was almost vicious to other dogs. I know living in a shelter, caged all the time can be stressful on a dog, and i hope this is the reason he was acting so aggressive toward the other dogs. As he was still in the cage as the other dogs were passing by. But other that this problem he is perfect, he is soo sweet, and loves people! I am thinking about adopting this dog, i do not have any other dogs, but i would like to be able to take my dog to the park with me without worrying he will attack another dog. Have you ever had a dog who was dog aggressive? Or do you know if there is a way to help him with is dog aggression?

My grandparents have recently bought a new miniature schnauzer puppy and are having problems handling it. When it gets hyper it gets a little out of control. We know that walking it enough will help control this but we are talking about the elderly here and they just don't have the energy to walk it for an hour a day. Another thing that the dog is doing is that it has a bitting problem. It doesn't just nip, it bites when it plays with somebody. Not when ever, but always! But by no means is it an aggressive bite, but I want to make sure that it does not develop into one. If someone could help me with this question and help control this bitting black blur that buzzes around my grandparents feet at 90 mph, that would be a great help.
thanks,
Mr. Discus!

I'm thinking about taking my new yorkie puppy to a training class, probably at a PetSmart. Has anyone been through it? Did it actually work? My puppy is 13 weeks old. He's very smart. Potty training is a little weird, but I've trained him to do somethings already like getting in his box and not running outside everytime the door is opened. Also, how long should I wait until I enroll him in a class?

My 5 month old puppy doesn't bark much, but when he does it's at someone talking, a car starting up, strange random noises, etc. and I was wondering how we can stop him from barking over those types of things. Thanks!

Anybody know what this could be. My seven year old miniture poodle has a growth on his tail, its like a piece of gum or something stuck in his hair. It came loose once and came off. Now I see its back again. He doesn't seem like it bothers him, but it does me. I am on a fixed income and cannot be running to the vet all the time.
Thanks for any help.

My dog is so loving and seaks attention alot, but for instance if im laid on the sofa and he comes up and puts his front paws on me and tries to get up (he never jumps up he likes to be picked up) i goto pick him up and he lets off a really nasty growl, he is fine most of the time its just now and again , also if me or my partner are stood up and move our arm or leg for instance he will snap out. he also does not like going out for walks if we show his lead he puts his ears down his tail goes between his legs and he looks at us so sad or starts shaking. he also sleeps all day and has collapsed twice, once on a walk and once in the house we have ongoing tests with the vets now but if anyone has or had any simaler problems pleae let me know. I think he must of had a bad past as we got him when he was 12 - 14 weeks old but i cant be sure.(hes male). any answers would be greatly appreciated thanks Nick.
