My boyfriend and I really like Dobermans and this is our first one. We can't seem to stop him from going to the bathroom in the house. We take him outside and he goes but when we bring him inside, he goes again. It is so frustrating. We also got him a bell to let us know when he needs to go out, he ate it. We got pee pads, he ate those too. I am tryin to be patient and I have run out of ideas....HELP!

I have a 5 week old German Shepherd puppy that I rescued from some irresponsible owners. I actually introduced him to my other 5 month old Pit puppies, and they don't seem to get jelous of him or nothing. All my Pits do is smell him and lick him (in a friendly way). I am just wondering if they will always be that friendly to him sinse the 5 week old pup and my other 2 pups are all males. I will get my Pit pups neutered in the next two months though. If any of you have experienced something like this, or you guys know how this situation would work out best, then let me know. thanks.

A person told me that they knew of someone who trained their dog's to attack black people. Can this really be done? If so, I think that's really sad and sick.

We have our 14 wk. old boxer/shepherd mix (male). I just recently added 2 foster pups that are about 12 wks, they are shepherd/lab mixes (1 female, 1 male). Our pup is constantly biting at them, and seems to be a bit obsessed with em. Follows them, bites their legs, takes "his" toys away from them. Not to mention, he's much rougher with the smaller one (female).
My question is, should I leave them to work it out, or should I step in and correct his biting at them? It seems like he wants to play (his tail wags, but his ears are back and he barks at them).

I have noticed about a week after we had him, that he isnt afraid of barking at other dogs (bigger), and that is how I decided for the most part being a foster would be a good idea, letting him interact more with pups/dogs at my home.

How should I handle this?

I have a stubborn 9 yr old min. schnauzer who takes for ever to take a dump, he wants to go on long walks most of the time even if he has to go really bad- he will hold it, this is annoying as I can't always weather wise or time wise take him on extended walks. He sniffs everywhere & is picky as to which spot he goes in.I guess he knows as soon as he goes I take him back inside the apartment so he tries to prolong the walks.
Help how can I speed the process up?

I was thinking that maybe it would be a better idea to buy a pair of pomeranians instead of 1 by itself, cause at least he/she would have a companion. Is that silly of me to think so? I just thought it would be nice, and if your answer is yes, should it be: Boy/Girl, Boy/Boy or Girl/Girl?

We like to give her baths ourselves instead of going to the groomer because she gets so nervous around water. How often should we be giving her baths?

I have a border collie puppy named Andy. He's constantly stealing junk from my neighbors' yard and bringing over to my house and making a mess. Anything and everything that he finds, he plays with it out in the yard for a while, then leaves it there. Is there anything I can do to make him stop doing that?

2 pupies survived and 1 was stillborn and 1 died a day after it was born. She now has an infection and has been given antibiotics and will be spayed. I may be wrong but in my opinion, I would have thought the vet would have done something the first couple of days. We know she didn,t have a chance to eat them, as she wasn't alone. The vet helped deliver some of the pups and didn'[t seem to concerned about the placenta. Just wondering about others experience with this. The 2 surviving puppies are real cute, they look just like yorki terriers(1 male, 1 female). The 2 that didn't make it were white with liver colored large spots(cute looking also and were both males). The father is a maltese yorki mix.

Im looking for a breed that will be extremely loyal and protective but also very smart, and independent minded. A dog that I would have to earn trust with but also would become a very loyal protector. What breeds have these characteristics?

We were shopping at Payless, we weren't out long, so we decided to take her new puppy. And the puppy was fidgeting so we took him out to do his "business".After he did, he ran out in the highway. The speed of the cars must have been at least 50-60.Some cars stopped and honked the horn, others barely missed him.She was afraid if she went out to grab him, she would get hit too.We called his name and he was walking back to us.And he was about 10 feet away when a car hit and killed him.The owner of the car gave her 450 dollars to buy a new puppy, but she has been sad for a month. They haven't gotten a new puppy yet and even though my puppy got killed by our neighbors dog, I don't know what to say to console her. What should I do?

I have a 13 pound cavalier king charles spaniel, and she is a non- stop barker. I was thinking about getting her a no- bark collar, but I'm not sure how well it would work to stop her from barking and if it is too harmful to her.
