It's pretty much a waiting game now. lol It'll pretty much be obvious when it comes down to it. Watch how much you feed her though. If she's starving and eats a lot of food very quickly it's possible it will cause bloat (because the food becomes a foreign substance in her body).
As she gets closer to the time of whelping (birth), she will probably start to get sluggish. She may drink a lot but refuse most food. She'll probably have to pee all the time. If she has bowel movements, her stool with become a darker color. Her vulva (vagina) will swell and within the last 24 to 48 hours she may have a stringy discharge. When you lightly squeeze her teets, if milk is present she will most likely whelp within the next 24 hours. Most dogs begin labor after 10 at night too so watch her closely after this time!!!

There are probably several ways to tell. You can gently feel around her belly to see if you can feel the puppies. You can check her nipples, they would be full. But you should take her to a vet anyway. The dog may have been dumped because she was pregnant, but she should be checked to make sure she is healthy and able to deliver the pups.

You should def take her to the vet asap. Since she was a stray she may need additional medical attention. But at home you can check her nipples to see if they are low/sagging and pay attention to how much she sleeps and how she lays...Hope this helps:)

you can take her to a vet and let them check for sounds with a stethoscope,or do an xray to see them that way, or you can put your hands on her belly to feel the puppies kick or moving,at least have her de wormed and a rabies shot done.

only way is to take her to the vet, so they can check. Some dogs have phantom pregnancies too so it is best to have her looked at ASAP

check her nipples or feel her belly. she might be far enough along you can feel the puppies moving, if she is pregnant. or you can take her to the vet.
