well i don't think you should give her a bath every week, because that would irritate her skin and remove the natural oils in her coat that keep it looking fine. i would say that you should bath her about every month or two months. Unless she gets into something and that makes her dirty or stink, that should work.

A Labrador afraid of water! lol How funny. Anyway I would give her a bath every few month. Not too often because Labs have a special oil on their coat to help shed water (they are water dogs after all). Use a high quality doggy shampoo every 3-4 months and she should be fine. Other than that only use a damp towel to clean spots.

having owned about20 various breeds and multiples of about ten.I think I qualify to give advise. Did I mention being a license cosmetologist in my state and grooming.I had a black and a yellow lab "the two girls". They lived a very similar life style to yours.Since you neglected to mention your climate I would say about twice a year. Once in the summer and once in the fall. In a normal not hot area once in the summer is fine, Your vet can sell you ointment for the eyes if that's a problem. Ears, clean with cleaner sold by your vet or supply catalog. Do not put alcohol in the ears to evaporate the water after a bath. It is over drying and can irritate sensitive tissues.good luck!

rule of thumb bathe a dog once a month and give a flea and tick topical to cut down on fleas, ticks and smells a dog or cat picks up while doing their business

ok I gained't inform you to get them neutered/spayed yet i will say if neither one does not have any championship titles, and a couple of to three technology again and performance not been well being qualified, OFA, CERF, BAER, and different genetic maladies generic to the breed. you shouldn't be breeding. Are they previous adequate or too previous to reproduce. they ought to in hardship-free words be bred between the a at the same time as of two-5.

it is not necessary to give her a bath on a regular basis. just brush her everyday or every other day and that should be fine. if you bathe her unnecessarily, you will only dry out her skin.

We have a lab too-- same situation.
She would rather be with me, sleeping at my feet, than outside.
We bathe her about once a month.
Ours is nervous around water too, LOL!
