NO! As other have suggested it would not hurt to use a baby shampoo but the best thing for the puppy would be either a shampoo specifically for a puppy or a pet aloe and Oatmeal Shampoo. It is soap less so better for dogs skin all the way around. Dog and Human hair have different pH balance so our shampoo will dry their skin out -- causing them to scratch have dry skin and be all around uncomfortable

must be a cute puppy! Human shampoos can strip out quite a bit of oil from the hair shaft and therefore be to drying to the skin and coat. It will do in a pinch but be really careful of the eyes.

Some shampoo can be used on dogs if its been tested on animals before, but i would recommend on using actual dog shampoo cuz that shampoo is specially made for them. Also human shampoo has different kinds of chemicals in it that might harm your pup by losing its hair or making its skin all gross and itchy

I would not suggest it. Human shampoo is not the best thing for a dog's skin. If you are going to bathe your dog I would go to the pet store and buy a shampoo made especially for dogs.

No, don't do that. Use puppy/dog shampoo it is formulated for dogs. Human shampoo can harm their skin because of it's pH balance. Stick with dog shampoo.

I use my daughters L'Oreal no tears shampoo on our dog all the time and I have ever since his very first bath. Every time I take him to the vet she comments about how shiny clean his coat is so it must be working well

I personally wouldn't use human shampoo on a dog, remember, there's a reason that there is dog shampoo.

No, our hair is much much different than theirs. Go out to a super market and pick up a shampoo for long-haired dogs, it should only cost a couple bucks.
