Which of the following sports do you think a golden retriever would enjoy the most:
-Obedience
-Agility
-Dock Jumping

I'm not sure what they would like best...I have reasons for all of them:
-Obedience: They love to please.
-Agility: They need to be active.
-Dock Jumping: They love water and swimming.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Rosefern

I have 4 dogs that are obsessed with eating the cat poop out of the liter box!

We have moved the box to various locations in the house and have put up baby gates but they've learned to jump them (or squeeze their way under them). We punish them EVERY time but they still insist on this habit!

What else can we try?!

Its probably 5 degrees outside and my dog who is a four year old lab lays out on the ground on top of snow. She has a fine house that has cedar chips in it and i would think it would be alot warmer in there than on the ground. She sleeps in there any other time but for about the past two weeks she has been sleepin on the ground. Shes gonna freeze to death!!!! well not really cuz we put her in the garage but can anybody tell me why she wont go inside her house??

i have a shih tzu who is 18 months old. she seems to be scared of her food bowl. i don't know what's wrong! she's been fed the same type of dog food, i forget the name, for a while, and she has eaten it just fine. but all of a sudden, one day, she just wouldn't eat out of it, not even when i put other food, like hamburger, in with it. she just picked the hamburger out really fast, and backed away. now she won't even go near her bowl, and i don't know why! please help!

Pit bull supporters always say intead of banning the pits we should ban the bad owners? OK. And HOW do they propose to do that? Put them in ovens like the NAZIS did? Very scary. That is called genocide folks. Banning a breed of dog is like banning a certain kind of gun or anything else that is man made. Because pits are just one of the 2000 breeds of dogs which were all made by man so PLEASE dont compare it to banning people!! My god, what is the matter with you pit lovers? Listen to yourselves sometime. SO HOW do you propose banning PEOPLE!? ANd I really dont think cities are going to go to the enormous expense of making people take and pass pit bull owning exams. That is just idiotic when there are 2000 breeds of other dogs to choose from.

It's driving me nuts. They bark and bark and bark for hours on end, mostly at night. The kicker? My neighbors are also my lanlords. They live right in front of me bc I rent thier garage apt. These are big dogs and are so loud! They just leave them in the back yard all of the time which is right at my apt. I feel like I can't say anything bc they are my landlords. If I call the cops and complain I feel like they would know i was the one who called, since it's a tight knit neighborhood, I'm going nuts!!!!! Any suggestions?

We could start by having all of the dogs sterilized and thus preventing the new births of these vicious killers.

He is usually inside, only outside for short periods of time when I go out. All of the rest of his coat is beautiful, he only seems to chew one side. He lies on either side when inside or outside. What could it be and how do I treat it?
