he ran away or killed ?

Well my dog is the only dog in the whole nieghborhood who will start barking hysterically if someone is on our land or in the neighborhood late at night (or a new person). Well lately she's been barking really late at night and escaping and when we let her out during the day she escapes again. At first we thought she kept on breaking our fence or digging holes or we forgot to close the gate. But then we relized someone was actually doing this! And lately my dog keeps on coming home with food. At first it was a can of Pedigree dog food and today she brought home a bone! My mom thought of this is someone trying to become friendly with my dog so she will no longer bark at them at night? Please help what should I do? I wanted to go follow my dog at a distance and bring my camera so I could take a picture of the person feeding my dog but is that dangerous?

This may sound like a weird question, but I have a male Chihuahua, and when he pees sometimes there looks like a little bead of pus left over. Is this normal or could it be a sign of infection?

I got a puppy from the RSPCA, she was found on the street. The vet there said she is a bull terrier/border (Welsh) collie cross. The vet nurse says no, she isn't bull terrier but Staffie and probably not collie either. I can't see the collie at all - she has short hair and although she is black with white patches, otherwise she has no resemblance to a collie at all. I suppose it doesn't matter all that much as she is gorgeous, but I'd love to know how big she will be when fully grown! Anyone know of online resources for identifying puppy breeds? Thanks for any help.

but you had to act like an animal for one week, would you do it and what animal would you choose? For example, if u chose to be a dog, that would mean you'd have to walk and all fours for a week and instead of speaking, you'd have to bark instead. And you'd also have to eat off the floor like a dog does. Anyway, that's just an example. What animal would you choose to be for a week?

She stopped eating dry foods about 2 months ago and now will not even eat rice and chicken and such like. Is this normal? She sometimes eats maybe one meal a day and is under no apparent stress. She is excercised 3 times a day. And has started sleeping alot longer.

Do they lick you? Or do they do something else? Also, do dogs understand that when I hug or kiss them, I'm giving them affection?

A fellow dog lover asked "how spoiled is your dog?" I inturned informed the person that spoiling your dog is selfish and is doing your dog more harm then good. After posting my comment i thought i would have some people agree w/ my statement but apparently the "real" dog lovers overlooked this question so i decided to post my own question on this subject. Which is now open for debate.

P.S. I'm not trying to make anyone look bad, I just want to understand why you would be so mentally cruel to your dog?

I know my dog, Kilo, thinks this is a game but it is awfully frustrating when I can't get him to drop something. It is usually socks or anything that has been very close to my body. He thinks it is a game and runs all over the house with the object. I try to change as soon as I get home before I let him out but sometimes he is already out and sneaks in our closet away with something very quickly. I always put my stuff away but like I said he is so fast and try and find something to get into and run with it. How do I stop this. I don't run after him when he gets it, I walk towards him and sternly say "NO, drop it". When I walk towards him he just hides behind something or runs. He just turned 1 yr old on Feb 2, 2007 so he still has puppy behaviors. How do I correct this?

We have a Corgi mixed (german shepard/golden retrever) dog who is around 6 months old.
He can sit and kinda stay but he has a problem with chewing things out of spite. (If we tell him no or bop his nose he will pick something of that persons and chew it up) Plus we cant get him from whining all the time. He isnt much of a barker but the whining drives us crazy!!!
He's a smart dog but just dosent get it.
He also likes to run off. We cant trust him not to run away. Im 6 months pregnant and cant chase after him.
What do you all think I should do training-wise?
