i have my own opinion on this, and i think most of the time its the owners fault when a dog bites, also bad breeding.

She's 8 weeks old, and 15lbs (NONE of it is fat. You can feel her ribs, etc. She's the size of our cat. O_o) If you want some help, she's half boxer-half rottie. I know that they're both fairly large breeds, but I was wondering if anyone had a size chart / estimate by how big a puppy is at a certain age to determine size later in life?

My Great Uncle's St.Bernard that he got is 11lbs at 8 weeks. Is this an indication that my mutt will be bigger than his? They're the same sex, female...

My pit bull likes to talk. He doesn't bark..he just opens his mouth and begins to make cooing noises like a child. He started doing it as a young age and I encouraged it b/c it was hilarious and cute. Now whenever I yell at him..he "talks back" in his own little way. He snobs me and then does what I ask like a toddler. I love him. He's silly.

I have a maltese and a cocker with food allergies. The cocker has the most problems. Causing inflammed ears and scratching. He gets an allergy shot every 6 weeks. both dogs did great on royal canine mini 30 food for 2 months. Thier coat was beautiful no stains around thier eyes from tearing or pink in thier white coat from biting themselves, and all of a sudden the maltese started biteing herself on the tale, back legs and anal area. there were also times her skin seemed brighter pink or more red than usual. I also had not had the maltese's anal glands cleaned in a while, so i did the same day i changed them from the royal canine mini 30 to natural balance duck and potatoe.I thought she had developed an allergy to corn or something in the royal canine mini 30 they were eaing. didn't think it could be because of her anal glands. what would cause her skin to be brighter pink or red at times? is it normal? was the royal canine mini 30 ok for the cocker with allergies?

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. (20 lbs) She is a wonderful dog except that when she gets excited, she jumps one people. and when company comes over, she jumps on them when they walk in the door. I know this isnt a very seriose problem,(except when the company is wearing shorts..ouch!) but I still would like to train her out of it, and Im not really sure how to go about that. Any suggestions?

My 17 week old mini dachshund puppy has a lot of dander. His groomer thinks he needs more vitamin E. Has anyone had similar problems and if so, did any particular food make a difference? Any other suggestions are also very welcome (i.e. shampoos, vitamins, etc.). He was treated for worms, but I am assuming they are gone now, so I don't think that can be the problem. I am going to have him rechecked in four weeks just in case. Thanks.

My Puppy keeps chewing in the wood in the house, coffee table, chairs, stairs, wall.

How do I get her to stop. When I give her a bone my other dog keeps taking them away and chewing them up in seconds.

The Puppy is a Boston Terrie (12lbs)

My older dog is a Rottweiler ( 130lbs) so it is hard to stop him from taking the bones he will find a way.

Having looked threw some pictures of rottweilers i have noticed that the rottweilers in america look leggier and narrower, In my opinion most of the rottweilers in the u.s Look horid, The average blocky Rottie in the uk put them to shame on the looks front. I know German rotties are supposed to be slightly shorter and blockier and then there is the roman rottweiler which is different again, Anybody have a favourite or care to add?

He will urinate on the floor even if I have just let him out. I have to confine him to the kitchen now when I'm gone. I never leave him more than a couple hours at a time. Yet he holds it all night long with no problem..What's up with him..
