Golden Retrievers are my favorite dogs. I've had three already and I haven't found anything wrong with them yet.

To have the best golden I would make sure that they're AKC registered. The AKC registered ones don't have problems that the mutts.

There are two different types of goldens; a golden golden, and a copper penny. A copper penny is more of a showy dog and I prefer them over a regular golden.

They need lots of love and attention. They also make great hunting dogs and are very quiet and kind. They are great with kids.

For a calmer golden I would get an adult puppies take lots of patience.

Goldens are grest with very small children and are one of the most popular breeds.

i also like bernese but for a smaller mess i'd stick with a golden

My favorite is a healthy one! I've had GSDs, a Great Dane, mutts of all shapes and sizes, and my current is a Lab mix (he looks like he's mixed with a beagle)..... He's wonderful and the only other dog I've had that I've connected with like this was a German Shepard/ Greyhound mix..... it doesn't matter the breed, if they are healthy, happy dogs (or puppies) any breed can capture your heart. I always said I wanted an Austrailian Cattle Dog (okokok, 2.... 1 red named Diego , and 1 blue named Stitch because those are the cattle dog personalities I've come across)........ but my Lab baby is so wonderful I couldn't think of life without him! I know, you were probably wanting a specific breed, but I say a healthy, happy, loving dog is the best type!!!!!

WOW a lot of yorkies. I can't really pin point just one. I grew up with Labs and loved them, they are SO loyal and smart! Then I got my Pom and she is so adorable and cute, dumb as a brick, but very intune with what i feel, and then there was the pit bull and I fell in LOVE with the breed. You know for all the bad hype it has been the best dog i have EVER owned! She is very smart and well behaved, sweet and loving. i could not have asked for a better dog. I would love to have a great dane or greyhounds one day, but I need more space for them to run.

I like to own little dogs for various reasons including the intelligence and spunk, but really my favorite dog is whatever dog I'm petting at the moment.

My favorite type of dog is a poodle because they don't shed and I have asthma and am allergic to most dogs.
You can get really big poodles called standard poodles that are as big or bigger then german shephards. You can get them in medium size, called miniatures and also in teeny sized called toy poodles.

Right now I have a mixed god from the pound. i love her to death but my favorite kind would have to be King Charles puppy's they are absolutly adorable! Im even hopeing to get one soon!
