i looked on petfinder for a chinese crested hairless dog, but cant find one. i live in SE ohio

Have you gotten in touch with CC rescue groups? It's best to fill out applications with them even before they get a dog that might be for you. Do this now and when they get a dog in, they'll already have your paperwork done. Stay in touch with them - don't give up!

Go back to petfinder. Click dog,type in chinese crested and put in a zip code and hit search. I did so and came across some of these dogs. One place I found on there was Rescue Alliance of hairless and other breeds. Good luck. I hope you find yourself one.

Go to www.akc.org - where you can also find the closest chapter of the breeds club - where the reputable breeders belong.

In Michigan we have a petfriendz.org a 'great' organization.
Don't know about Ohio.
