my dog always looks at the hall way at nigth i'm not afraid just curious.

This is a question that we cannot give a definite answer. I had witnessed dogs showing bizarre behavior - howling, crying, and looked so scared (during the night or a particular place) which the folks believed that they are seeing ghost. Sounds possible and believable yet we can not give exact explanation for such an idea to be reliable.
They say dogs like some other animals are highly sensitive to spirits. Whatever is the exact explanation for this, who knows? Dogs may really see ghosts or something beyond human capabilities to see but all we can say are all presumptions and speculations. Human cannot see them so how can we tell the definite answer? Science tries to explain and find out anything that could uncover this mystery but gives no straigtforward significance. If dogs can talk or can at least clearly define its thoughts, then there could be a way to uncover the reality. For the meantime, this remains a big mystery and largely depends on every human whether to believe or not.

I don't know, but it's weird because I am laying down then all of the sudden my dog walks in...
He lays down on my bed and falls asleep.
Then he wakes up and stares all around my room, he moves his
head as if looking at ghosts.
I believe cats speak to dead people, or spirits. I am almost 100%
sure that both cats and dogs have special powers, healing
powers as well.
See, my cat is very heavy. The other day I had a really bad stomach
pain and I went to the doctor. Not even the doctor could make it go away!
I went hope and layed down, my cat (Fat Cat) layed down on the
area of my stomach that was hurting, and 5 minutes
later, it went away.
That shows me how much she loves me.

the dog may just be hearing regular noises that all houses make. you may not notice because you are used to it. or dog may be hearing an animal outside or in the walling of your house. like a mouse or something. im not a disbeliever necessarily, but there are other possibilities. have you ever seen a ghost in your home? if so, then the dog may be seeing it as well.

I have heard dogs and kids can see ghosts and I want to say I believe it. Only because my dog will watch something I can not see. He will actually follow something around and at times sits down and looks up at something and will wag his tail. A coule a times he started to shake and began to growl at something he was watching. He has done it day and night.

yes i do. i have often wondered if my dog has seen a ghost. because it will be quite and he will start barking down the hall and we are the only ones home. so yes i believe dogs can see ghost.

I be live they can see ghost because we rented a house and my dog kept going to the same room and sitting looking around. I told the landlord and he said that's where his mom passed away at.

Chinese (including myself) always feel that animals can see ghosts/spirits. I myself believes that but like another member said, we cannot really prove this as we ourselves couldn't see it. But I have friends who seen "that" before...so....If humans can see it, why can't dogs or any other animals? Somehow they are more sensitive to their environments. It does happen at times when my dog will go to the door and bark whereby there's no one, nothing. But I guess I am accustomed to that. And if you don't offend "that", "it" will not offend you too. So there's really nothing to worry.

I am a ghost hunter and I use my dog all the time in translevania to track down the dasturdley ghools and he extinguishes their pitifull existence by barking until they just die their final death cause he stops barking then he guides me to a cemetary and sits on the grave of that person who has caused soo much turmoil and we both piss and s**t on it.
