I have a Doberman, Named hammer. he is my 11th dobie. I've been raised with dobermans, and they are the best breed ever! dont beleive me, then check out the stats..
I saved him from a shelter when he was 11 months old, he is pure bred, but his first owners couldnt keep him anymore because they already paid too much for him " a thousand dollars" and they didnt want to keep up with him, so they dropped him off at the shelter when he was 3 months old. he then was adopted agian at 9 months, but he got loose, but when the shelter picked him up, the second owners didnt want him, they said that he was too big and stalky, and they just didnt want him anymore, he was too affectionate. and they didnt have time for that. and when i came in to look for a dobe with my father, the shelter said he only had the weekend to live, it was friday! I adopted him immeadiataly. Now he is being police trained by me, bc all my dobes were. and now he is the best obediant dobie ever!

Personally I think Dobermans are one of the greatest dogs alive. They look like slim Rottweillers.
They have a stare that would make you wet your pants.
They are and always will be one of the best all time guard dogs.
There speed, power and size are awesome.
I will always remember the ones on Magnum P.I. They always looked cool and dangerous.
Okay - So I don't own a Dobbie. I own an Akita. Akita's are more than a Dobbies equal. Akita's are the number one guard dog alive. They have size, power, strength and courage. They are fearless and will take down any intruder/s. Akita's have proven themselves time and again in this area. They are also ferocious in there fighting ability. I hope you like Akita's as much as I like Dobbies. I would def. own a Dobbie. NO Question - Great choice of dog well done.

Hi, I have three Dobermans at present and I simply LOVE the breed.They are VERY intelligent, devoted, affectionate and lovable!!!! I call mine my four legged kids!!! Thank you for saving one of these magnificent dogs. The next time I get another Dobie it will be from a Doberman Rescue.

I absolutely love Dobes, I have a 9 year old that is just gorgeous, and I just lost a 12 year. I had them since they were pups, they are like my sons. they are the best dogs ever.

I have a Doberman, her name is Seb. She is the most affectionate dog I've had. I love her to bits. Now I'm in the mood to give her some attention.

I had a Doberman when I was a little girl and she was very good to us but, mom was home with her lots and she was very protective of mom. she became very much a one person dog over time.

I had a miniature doberman and he was the best dog ever and loyal too. I loved him very much.

They are my favorite breed. I love them also. Had one that I put through Police training and we worked very well together. They are wonderful dogs. Highly trainable and smart.
