Me and my mom were cooking and we let Olivia (my Yorkshire Terrier) to walk around our apartment. I soon wondered where she was, so I went to our bedroom and saw her sleeping on the floor. She came to us and was shaking and shivering. We do not know if our cat (9 years old) scratched her, or it's simply a nightmare. She's calmed down now, but I want to make sure. She's in perfect health, up to date with her shots, and she's very good on walks. She also panted a bit.. Please give me advice?

Hello. We have spent some time with this dog...and he is an absolute mushy LOVE! We have been getting acquainted with the dog, since his foster mom lives very close to us. We were told that the best guess is a pit/lab mix...but they don't know for sure. Do you agree with this, or do you see a possible other mix combination? Please let me know...I've attached his pics through these links http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f211/Gia327/zeus1.jpg

I have a bichon frise. Sometimes when I'm lying down on the couch, she'll sit on the couch with her body laying on my tummy, she'll be staring at my face for a minute & then reach her paw up & tap me. I wonder why she does that, I'm already paying attention to her. My ex says thats her way of connecting with me.....

I recently moved into a condo along with my 2 1/2 year old dog. She has just started scratching the door to the point that I now have to replace the molding around the door. The only time she does this is when we leave her alone at home. I know it is separation anxiety but how do we train her not to scratch again after we replace the molding?

My cousin an i are looking for low-priced(nothing more then $750 nothing less then $250) yorkie and westie pups; we live in the downtown Brooklyn area and really do not have the transportation to go outside the 5 boroughs unless where we need to go for the dogs is in new jersey or long island both with local transportation.
Also we do not know what a "normal" price would be for either dog,as well as are prices slightly higher for males then females or vice-versa? Is it "possible" to purchase a dog for the lower monetary price even if the pup is under 2 but over 6 months?
Thank you all in advance for the information.
happy new year to every one

My Lahsa-Poo is often hyperactive. She pulls on the leash constantly, and jumps on the dinner table when no-one is around(the table). She can't tell the difference between the commands 'sit', and 'down'. She just does a random one whenever I give her a command. She also refuses to listen when we tell her to 'leave it' when she has a dead bird in her mouth.(or something like that) Please Help!

My Lahsa-Poo is afraid of laser pointers, bubbles, rolled up sleeping bags, and fire, among other things that we have not yet discovered. Can anybody tell me why? Thank You!

My friend fed her dog alot of spice. Around the same time her dog's tail was injured. Ever since then her dog has been growling more then usual. I am wondering if her tail is the reason for the growling or the spice.

She is a wonderful dog but sometimes seems bored or lonely when not getting the attention she thinks she needs.
