He is going through his "teen phase" now is time to really step up on the training and to be very consistant. Make sure to NEVER give a command you can't enforce. Take him to obedience classes.

2x4 to the top of the head...no no no I'm kidding here. Speak to him with a very small snack in your hand. He'll listen for sure. The trick is to get him to understand and respond to what you say...again the small snack reward system works very well.

Get him enrolled in Obedience School. He is going through the teen years where he forgets everything he learned and refuses to listen. Obedience School will get him back on track.

Stare him down! He is challenging YOU as master of the house. Use a firm voice and do not expect miricles. He will not train well until he is over his youthful joy and bounce.

Use his favorite treat. My dogs all sit around me when its treat time. A bowl of fruit loops. They each catch theirs when I toss them and they don't try to get each others. Some dogs like cheese puffs. Find out his favorite and give it only when he obeys.

Make yourself be the center of attention. Perhaps baby talk with him (Works with my Yorkie), because I think dogs like the sweeter voice... That's about it, sorry. Just make it like you're the greatest thing ever, lol.
