Hi,
With chocolate, if it does not agree with her system, she will vomit it up. There are forms of sweets that can cause serious damage, but chocolate is not one of them, especially as she only had 3 little pieces. As a girl, guess she likes chocolate too.
Give her a big hug from me.
Have a Happy New Year,
Darryl S.

Well, I gave my dog some fudge and the little guy died. I spose feeding a 6 pound dog 3 pounds of fudge was not the smartest thing I ever did. But hey, it was all we had, money was scarce because of the crack addiction, and the fudge was a present from that old ***** that lived next door. I think she lived on cottage cheese, beer, and welfare. I am not sure why she gave that fudge to us in the first place. hmmm, come to think of it, that looked a lot like bloated liver, wow, good thing I didn't eat it. Well, I have to go see if there are any other body parts layng around, wife is coming home from work soon and I hate that *****.
Another great improvised story from Brianmann.

how big is your dog, if she's a small dog even small amounts of chocolate can be toxic to them. sounds like a very small amount, but you can't be too cautious. give her some hydrogen peroxide to make her vomit up as much of the chocolate so she doesn't ingest all of it. call an emergency clinic and they can tell you what signs you need to look for like lethargy, diarrehea, etc....good luck.

depends on the size of a "little piece of chocolate" vs the size of your dog. probably not tho.

Your dog should be fine. If she does not seem normal in a few days take her to the vet. But dont worry about it.

It could. If it just happened call a vet hospital. I was told to give our do a teaspoon of peroxide. Makes them vomit. If it's been an hour or so you'll be OK still call a vet.

no, she will be fine. My medium sized dog once ate a pound of chocolate at Christmas and survived it. She was mighty sick though. A few little pieces will be ok.

LOL that's funny. So she must have gobbled them down in 2 seconds right, before you could react? Or did you see it eat one, let it happen, watch it eat the second, and so on. Kind of hilarious if you ask moi.........
