You can't be serious.

Your puppy needs to get to the vet asap.

Leaving this puppy long term untreated is illegal and you can be criminaly charged.

If you leave the puppy long term it may need to leg amputated.

If you can't afford the vet work, take the dog to a shelter and surrender it.

Splint the let tonight. A couple people gave good directions on that.

Take puppy to the vet as soon as possible. Most larger cities have a clinic that's open 24/7. If there isn't an emergency vet in your area, call a few clinics. Many vets will come in on a day off for emergencies like this.

If you DO NOT do these two things, you can be charged with animal cruelty. You may be required to surrender your pup in this case. You will have to make a court appearance. You will be fined. In some cases, you may serve jail time. If you are under 18, your parents may be held accountable for your actions or you may be placed in juvvie. If you are found guilty of animal cruelty, that stays on your record forever. Most shelters and reputable breeders will not sell an animal to you.

Take the dog in. In the long run it will save you a ton of grief.

You have to take him to a vet and get him the proper care. Breaking a leg isn't a minor issue. When people break a leg or an arm they have to go to the hospital, dogs aren't any different. Keeping him home will just be causing him more pain and might make the leg worse.

You MUST take him to a vet ASAP!

If you can't afford the vet, take him anyway. there are a number of charites that might help you with the cost of his treatment. start looking for them now, or call a local no-kill shelter and turn him over to them. At least he'll be cared for and get the treatment he needs.

I have been in a position myself where vet bills were an issue. I lost my beloved Tristan to Lymphoma two years ago - I was unemployed at the time and IMOM http://www.imom.org/ helped pay for his cancer treatment. We had fundraisers, garage sales - anything to raise money for his care. We got 6 wonderful, fun and love-filled months of remission before the cancer got too bad and I lovingly sent him to Rainbow bridge.

IMOM also helps with emergencies such as this. contact them. there are other, similar charities, also.

there is also a credit organization that can help with 0% credit for vets and medical bills - Care Credit - most vets will accept this card for payment. http://www.carecredit.com/

Don't let your puppy suffer any longer!

If you broke your leg would you like to go to a doctor? Its in pain...You can't let it go on that way and it would probably not heal straight since you have no idea what the break looks like inside. If you are short on funds....when its an emergency the vet will usually let you make payments ....I saw a women in the vets office this last week who had to take her dog in for something...but I heard her tell someone she couldn't pay for it...don't know if she was saying she was going to let the vet see the dog and take care of it and then she would tell them she had no money....thats not right...they could call the law on her. ..or work something out.But that pup needs something for pain also.

Nothing. That is being cruel. A vet has to see him and set his leg. Don't own a pet if you cannot pay what it costs to care for them, including things like this.

Many vets let you do installments if money is an issue. Take that if you have to, but do not be a bad owner and neglect your puppy. Give him to a good home if you cannot take care of him properly.

WOW. It is people asking idiotic things like these that make me lose more and more hope for the human race. I'm not even going to go into the take your dog to the vet stuff, I'm going to go right into the SURRENDER YOUR DOG IMMEDIATELY to someone who actually knows how to take care of a dog and someone who isn't SELFISH and cruel that wants to make a living thing suffer.

Do the world a favor and NEVER own another animal again. EVER.

You have to take him to a vet. You can't have a dog and not be ready to take care of stuff like this. Sometimes its going to cost you. If you can't handle it you need to just leave the puppy with the vet.

It is heart breaking when someone asks a stupid question such as this. I truly believe you are an irresponsible pet owner. Get him to the vet, NOW . Live on a crust of bread if you have to, but the dog shouldn't suffer. He needs medical treatment. Poor dog...

The dog MUST be seen by a vet, ASAP. Would you like it if your leg were broken and no one took you to a doctor?

Call the vet now, they probably have an emergency doctor on duty.
