He is a struggling college student, but managed to send me 125.00 for his dog's vet care. Currently I cannot afford any extra expenditures. Please tell me what I need to ask the vet to do. The dog is very active, eats well and has no visible problems. I know he needs a rabies shot........but what else should I get for 125.00? We cannot afford to get everything. We are good people so please don't bash us and say : Don't have pets unless you can afford them. We feed, bathe and love the dog, he sleeps on my bed. He is kept inside and goes out only for potty. Oh, he did have all his puppy shots and wormers. He is 3 years old today. Hondo lived at college with my son for 2.5 years and now he is home with us ,my son is taking 18 hours and felt bad that he could not spend a lot of time with him. So we have him for a while. Hondo has not spread his boxer love around either.

My chihuahua gets stains under her eyes, and I'm wondering if there is any solution for them. Some groomer told me to give her organic food and bottled water. I already give her bottled water, but organic food?? I've also tried a lot of the stuff they sell at the pet stores, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?

okay I have a 1 year old mini dachshund and when I call him to come to me he crawls on his stomach to me then flips over on his back, does this mean he sees me as the alpha female? or does it mean something else?

I have a large German Shepard. She has stiff and sore joints. I read that you can give them Glucosamine for it.

I have joint pain. I take Glucosamine Chondroitin for it (500mg/400mg).

Is this something I could give to my dog?

p.s. i cant rescue a dog as i work full time.

I have two male dogs. One is a Schnauzer & the other is a Yorkie. The Schnauzer is 13yrs old & the yorkie is only 5yrs old. The yorkie is not neutered but the Schnauzer is. Why do they hump each other? Why does my yorkie find interest in cats also? He licks them in the back & act very weird. He starts chattering his teeth & sometimes lightly cries. The only cat he doesn't act weird towards is our new kitty, they are best friends. Ever see that before? Hehe, thanks guys&girls.

I have a Yorkie [as some of you know! ps. thx for the help] & Ive had him for about 4yrs now. He is not neutered yet & we kind of have a problem. He will pee in the house, daily.

I take him outside but we have to keep him on a long leash because recently he jumped in the lake after the ducks & got stuck & I don't want to loose him.

Anywho, I sometimes take him for walks in the backyark & yet him see the lake & pee. But no matter how much he pees he still leaves little tinkles in his favorite spots. He is marking his territory? We have another dog who is very old & they get a long. I know Yorkies are very hard to housebreak but do you think getting him neutered will help a lot? All of our other dogs peed outside, so i don't know where he is getting this idea from.

We have 3 dogs in our house. Rotweiller, doberman and a poodle. But none of them barks to strangers. Usually, dogs bark whenever they hear the presence of a stranger. As if they don't care whoever comes into our house.

Her name is Sasha and we got her from a local shelter. We think she' about 2 years old now. We've had her since June of 2005. She is fixed but is always peein & poopin in my house, either in my son's room or the kitchen. She'll do it if we're out or if we're home (she doesn't care). I'll let her out and she'll still "go" in the house right after she went out! How do I stop her from doing this? Please help!!!
