You need to bring him to a "No-Kill" shelter. They will find someone that can properly handle and train the dog. It sounds like the dog just needs attention and training that you don't want to bother giving it.
Also, male dogs don't instintively pee by lifting their leg - Most will squat until they are old enough to mark their territory (About 1 1/2) or unless they are exposed to other males that lift their legs.

honestly, sounds like your dog just needs some good training. All of those things can be fixed to make your dog more enjoyable. Try listing him in the newspaper, on bulletin boards, those kinds of things. If that does not work, take him to the local ASPCA. They have dogs of all shapes and sizes and behavior problems that they work with or can find the perfect match for them. Feed him to the lions?
Don't let him run away, that will only hurt him, and make him not trust people when he does fine a home.

Take him to a shelter that will place him for adoption to a new home. They are everywhere. He deserves a good home.
People don't realize that dogs are work. It sounds like you are in over your head, and don't really know how to train a dog. You need some help learning. Don't get another one until you can afford to go to some obedience classes with it.
By the way, he cries and barks out of boredom and/or unhappiness. He KNOWS no one wants him. Dogs need affection like we all do. And also, there is no "pee like a female" or "pee like a male". He just pees like a dog - sometimes they lift their leg, sometimes they don't. Both my males are tough dogs, and they don't lift their legs. My female goes around marking everything in sight.
I hope he finds a good home. You are good for trying. Don't give up, and don't just let him run off. He can die of a traffic injury or disease, or abuse or cold. Take him to a Humane Society shelter.

PC, what planet are you from? They put down dogs and cats by the hoards all over the country...if they didn't we would be over-run in a matter of a year.
Dude, there are barking collars that will keep him quiet and he is a young male, he will pee like the big boys soon.....find a way to keep him or give him to the shelter, DON'T let him run wild that is really cruel and is a rough life for the boy.

Okay, several points:
- Why don't you want him?
-It is not necessary to feed a dog 4 times a day. Twice a day is fine.
- Peeing like a female dog is not a "problem".
- A kennel is a place for boarding dogs. I think you you mean by "cannil" is a shelter, rescue, or humane society.
- Do NOT let him just run away. He could get hit by a car, injured by wild animals, starve..
Call around to find a local no kill shelter or rescue, and surrender your dog over to them. They will find him a home and won't kill your dog or "feed him to lions".

It sounds to me like your dog is unhappy. Dogs tend to bark and cry that much if they need your attention. They are happiest when they are part of the family and can be with you most of the time.

oh my gosh. if you take him to the humane society they wont put him to sleep. but before you give him up try to get him trained, theere are licensed professionals who will train and show you how to train your dog. dont give up on him yet. he is still young and can be trained still, dont let him run away. he has a higher chance of death that way. try to train your dog.
