She was eating fine up until tonight, I have been bottle feeding them, because their mother did not have enough milk. I thought she was doing ok. She has another sister and brother who are doing good. Please if you know anything that could be causing this please let me know what I can do in order to help her.

I have 2 male springer spaniel working dogs they are full brothers and 9 months old and they are running wild, they live outside in seperate kennels and if i take them for a walk and let them off the lead they always run up to other people and jump on them which the people obviously dont like,

please help what should i do??

Thanks for the advice. I do put my lab on her back & even then she tries to nip me. I correct her as well as my mom but my husband STILL Says she's just being a puppy!!When I try to correct her I get yelled at!! I tell my puppy "no" & lightly tap her nose my mom does this as well but my husband keeps saying she's a puppy! I have watch the dog whisperer & in fact have learned a few things. But my husband is being stuborn to where we have fought over correcting the puppy & not correcting her! He is insting that she will grow out of this! It's getting annoying becasue where she nips me on my wrist makes it look like I'm cutting myself when I'm not even my mom said this! Plus my wrist & the area between wrist & elbow is swollen! My husband hads told me that if he sees my mom or I correcting her that he will correct us! I know that if my mom & I correct her but my husband doesn't isn't that mixed messages & the pup won't know what to do- right??! HELP!!

My pomeranian is white/tan and medium sized and resembles the pomeranians I see in pictures/postcards from 1914 etc.

Her brothers and sisters and mother/father are tiny like the pomeranians of today.

What causes a throwback? did she inherit her great great grandmother's genes?

My sister wants a house dog and i want a watch dog. My dad decided that he would both buy us one puppy if we take care of it. and if we dont them he'll give it away. My sister wants a dark brown pomeranion and i want to get a blue pit-bull. Do you think the two dogs will get along?

They'll be together from puppy time. The pomeranion will be 6 months old and the blue pit-bull will be 5 months when we get them.

I have a large chocolate lab that really likes car rides, but when it comes time to get out, tugging on his leash or collar doesn't get him to exit the car! I can't even coax him with gentle words, a treat or calling his name. He is pretty heavy and the past few times I have had to scoop him up and carry him. Is there any way I can train him to get out when I open the door instead of him just laying there looking at me with the "yeah right, i'm not moving" look?

I adopted my dog from the Humane Society, and all they knew about him was his estimated age, that he was a bassett hound mix, and that he had brindle coloring. I've had several people, including the vet, tell us they've never seen his coloring on a bassett hound before. I'm really curious to figure out what other breed(s) he might possibly have in him. I'm currently leaning towards daschunds. I have pictures of him on my 360 page under "Charlie." There's also a good one of him (full body shot) in one of my blogs (I can't remember which one, but it's relatively recent). Would any of you "experts" care to check out the pictures and see what you think? Thanks for any help. :)

We just had a lot of snow here, and I have a small miniature pinscher (shes 8 lbs). She refuses to pee outside! I bring her out when she tells me she has to go, and she just stands there shivering, walks around a little bit, and by the time 3 min or so have passed, shes freezing, lifting up her paws, and she still has not peed! Does anyone have any ideas as to how I get her to pee outside? I have thought about the boots for dogs, but do they insulate the feet as well? How do I get her used to the boots? Shes 3 years old.

The vet said to give her Cimetidine (Tagamet) because it is probably acid reflux. When there is green grass to eat she eats that and is fine but after the grass dies she gets sick. I give her one pill about 6pm and then another one at 8. Sometimes this does the trick but sometimes it doesn't. If she throws up, she throws up about every hour all night long. I've tried feeding her some at night instead of feeding her just in the morning but that doesn't seem to matter. I feel so sorry for her because I can tell she feels bad. I have both her parents and neither of them has ever done this but she has done this for approx the last 6 years. I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to alleviate it. Thanks!

I would really appreciate it if anyone can provide sites of breeders from other countries that they trust or had delt with.... It isn't for me but my aunt. She has exprerience with each breed and would like 2 pups. I have no idea why she would want one from a different country, but since she is, I might as well help her out. She doesn't want one from this country, her perference is in Europe, so please provide sites from breeders in Europe only.... Thanks... (PS -- she is fostering dogs now, but would like her own pure bred pups)...
