I have used spray bottles to squirt my male cat when he goes near the tree. He likes the taste of BITTER APPLE, yea, i know. Orange peels, citrus sprays, pepper, and powder repellants have no effect. He doesn't knock the tree over, but he weighs 20 pounds and creats total destruction when he "plays". I'm going crazy. PLease help!!!

They look like blackheads, but are sticking out on the hair strands/pores all over under my cat's chin. She has no fleas. I cleaned it yesterday with a warm wet cloth and soap. Now, they're all back. What is causing it? I have no clue!

I got a 6-9 month old cat off of craigslist a month or two ago and I'm pretty sure that she was a stray and spent all of her time outside before some nice people took her in and rehomed her. The problem is, every now and then she tries really hard to get out of my house and I live in a city and don't think it's a good idea to let her be an outdoor cat. Is there any way (beside waiting for her to grow out of it) to get her to stay inside? Any help would be appreciated.

I have 3 young male cats. The all get along and are a year apart each. My middle cat is half siamese and half himilayin. He rubs up against everything (i.e. door frames, wall edges, your leg), but if you bend down and pet him, he leans away from your hand, or lets you pet him and looks miserable, or just gets up and walks away. The only person he lets pet him is my 7 year old son. He will jump up next to him and cuddle with him. We've never beat my cat or anything. He's 2 years old now and still hates being pet. What's his problem?

i own 8 kittens, and one is indoors while the others are outside/inside cats. Two or three of them apparently keep jumping into the neighbors car. Tonight was the second time it happened. He told us that he doesnt mind them running around but the next time they jump into his car he wont 'just shoo them out'. What should i do to prevent them from jumping into his car? Please help me!

By older cat (1 year +) absolutely hates my little cat (4 months). My little cat has already been in the house for 2 months. The older cat has been here for all of her life. The older cat hisses everytime the younger cat comes near her... Is there any way to stop her? Or do I just have to keep them away from each other?

Thanks for your help!

First my cat stopped using the litter box for number 2. I was told I was not cleaning his litter box very well. Then he used it evey now and then. I recently bought a new litter box and he is not doing number 1 either. I do not know what to do. I recently had a baby. Does this event have to do with his behaviour?

There has been a stray cat at my house for about a year now. We started feeding him, and allowing him in the house 6 months ago. This cat has always been skinny. We always think he is going to die, but he hasn't yet. He acts healthy, he is not slow, he eats, he purrs and comes to you for attention. The cat comes and goes through the cat door, so I don't know how much he is eating(we have another cat), and I don't see his stools. I don't have money to take him to the vet. Is it possible that he has worms?

I have two indoor cats, and see way too many dead cats on the side of the road, It breaks my heart. I can't imagine letting my cats loose, especially with Coyotes, foxes and emotionally disturbed people out there to trust they are ok. Curious to hear from someone who does allow their cat to be an outdoor cat.

He still has attacks once a day although he has been tapering down on his prednisone the last two weeks. Does anyone know of any transdermal treatments recommended by a vet for prevention of asthma attacks? I don't think he will do well on inhalers. He already hates meds. Does your cat take prednisone injections?

I was not able to prove any food I fed him was contaminated, but the lab tests are pretty conclusive in my opinion. The FDA hasn't been helpful since none of the foods I can think of that he ate matched perfectly with the specific product IDs of identified contaminated foods. Is there anywhere I can go for recourse for my $1,000 of vet bills?

I found a little brown bug crawling between the white hairs of my cat's chin. Could this be a flea? My cat is an outdoor cat, so I know that the possibility is high.

My mother and I recently rescued a cat and now we have another! This one was very bad off, matted fur and so thin you can feel all her bones and joints just by brushing you hand over her, we didn't think she would live the night. We called the vet, but we can't get an appointment for two weeks. We are feeding her wet cat food and a bowl of water, but is there any high calorie human food we can give her so she can gain weight quicker?

Hi i have a kitten she is about 7 months old. She is an indoor cat, lastnight she woke me up in the early hours she was sick she hadnt had any food for a good 7 hours but threw biscuits up. I cleaned up then went back to bed, in the morning i fed her some biscuits and went to the cattery for a couple of hours when i got back she had thrown them up too. I fed her a little handful of biscuits at 5 and shes just thrown them up too. I dont get it though cause shes begging soooo bad for food shes not off her food at all. Shes still playing around too and is lively. Shes on dry food only and has been wormed and de-flead. Any one have any idea what the problem could be? Im getting worried cause if its something serious i dont know how im going to afford it as im a full time student again. Shes like a child to me i love her so much and dont like to see her not being able to eat specially as she loves her food.
