who can't put up a Christmas tree, because of my cat climbing it???

You are not alone. And to prove there's no fool like an old fool, a 10 year old kitty I had many years ago suddenly decided to climb the tree. I think the crash was heard in the next county.

lol I love cats but that is a good reason why I won't get one. I remember my sister's cat always trying to take off the candy canes on our parents Christmas tree. It was cute...but it wasn't my tree afterall ;)

no, you're not the only one. maybe you could get one of those smaller, tabletop trees and then use your leftover ornaments and lights to really deck out the whole house. I never have a tree anymore - because of the cats and because my dogs might think it is a "real" tree and pee on it.! Ha!

My cat is the same way. lol! just dont have any breakable orderments on the bottom of the tree! lol

no you arent...LOL...I just recently (last year) start putting up a 3ft tree on top of a curio cabinet they dont bother it cause they cant fit up there along with the tree

We didn't last year for that very reason. This year our cats are older, less "crazy" so we gave it a try. The first night the bottom bows were all bent...*sigh*...better luck next year.

I don't put a Chrismas tree up anymore, Because I get drunk and climb it, Which would make me a drunk JUNGLE JIM....

no you arent alone. i laugh at my cat when he does that...partly because hes fat and he gets stuck lol. theres not really a lot you can do.
