i am going to be taking a 32 hour trip and want to know what is the safest sleapping pill for pets especially cats??? or what can i give them to keep them calm while traveling

No human medicine is safe to give to sedate your kitties. But the vet can prescribe something for them.
The only other safe thing I can think of is a couple drops of Bach Flower Essences Rescue Remedy. This is a liquid and you could put a couple of drops in their water a couple of days before you leave. Then a drop on each kitty's towel in their crate the day you leave. The combination of flower essenses in Rescue Remedy have a calming effect. I got mine at GNC for about $10.

Human medications are often toxic to pets and can kill them. Get your medication from the vet, they'll have some that is cat specific, and geared towards the cat's weight and condition so you won't harm your pet.

I agree--pills for people are extremely harmful to animals...
call your vet and ask for a very mild sedative...I'm sure they can give you just a few...

you need to see your vet and get proper sedation pills, human pills will probably kill the cat

i never heard of sleeping pills for cats, be careful and dont give your cat pills intended for humans.
try catnip?!

my vet told me to give them children's benadryl, i did it my cat suffered no ill affects. i had avery reputabl vet where i used to live! so thumbs up bitc*es
