Not everyone puts lost / found pets up online.

PLEASE do the standard thing and check with ALL the animal shelters two to three times a week, and check with your animal control. Both will be in the phone book. Any strays picked up and/or turned in only have a 3-10 day grace period (depends on the city, some only do three days of holding before they euthenize). GO DOWN to do a physical check, as their records may not be completely accurate about appearance.

If they pick up an injured animal they usually automatically euthenize, UNLESS you've given them a notice that you're lfor your animal. If they get a white cat in with a broken leg and you've left a notice that you lost a white cat, they hold it and try to notify you instead of killing it. So it's very important!
They'll also be able to tell you of any matching the description of your pet that they picked up dead on the road--animal control removes dead animals off the roads.

If you only rely on only the internet you're not very likely to get your pet back.

If it was me, I'd also be posting notices at all the grocery stores in a 5 mile area, AND at all the vet clinics in at least that area as well. Plus put up flyers on the trees on each block for 4 blocks in every direction. That's bare minimum.

You could also try Craigslist. They have a lost and found area. Good Luck, I hope you find your cat. You could also put up signs or flyers
