I'm worried that my cat will get sick and I won't know. A year ago I noticed little droplets of blood on the bathroom floor and noticed that she was going to the litter box a LOT. I took her to the vet and the doctor said she had a urinary tract infection. She stayed overnight and he gave her some medicine to clear the infection. He said it was good that I caught it when I did because it would have gotten much worse. Now, I'm worried that something will happen to her and I won't know.

What if she has an intestinal blockage? What if she gets
feline leukemia or cancer and I don't know? What if she gets really sick and I don't notice until its took late? I'm so worried about her because I love her so much.

I have the vets # and an emergency animal clinic # on my fridge. I've already driven to the clinic to make sure I know how to get there (just in case)......

How can I get over the fears that she'll get sick and I won't find out soon enough?

A month ago, I adopted a cat from a shelter! They didn't tell me she was starting an URI. My other cat caught it and both took antibiotics! They were okay and now cat no.3 is starting to get it and is giving it back to cat no.2. Will they give it back to the first one?? How can she get it twice in a month??

I found a worm on my kitties bum the other day, so I called the vet and they said to bring in a sample. I did that this morning and it came back negative. Anyone know how that could be???

my cat is acting strange since she fought with a stray cat. she fought with the cat like an hour or two ago and the stray cat is still at the door making noise. now i notice my cat is more feisty, she stratched at me a little and kinda get mad at the noises of the other cat. is this normal? should I be worried if she has rabbies. she isnt bleeding or have deep bite marks. Should i be worry about my health. Thanks everyone

Im worried if my cat might of caught rabbies from a cat thats been stray for a while. They got into a little fight but only for a minute. I felt my cat and she has no blood or deep bites or blood drawing stratches. I just wanted to know if anyone thinks its likely she caught rabbies and if i should worry? the other cat didnt seem scared of water but didnt drink any either. the other cat didnt seem to drool or foam from the mouth. the other cat seemed stired up but might of been from the fight. She was pretty friendly. It was a cat that ran away but came back and now im worried that im in danger or my current cat is. any feedback will be welcomed.

The poor things never have a chance when surrounded by 2 giant bug-eaters. (The other 3 cats aren't so interested.)

I feel almost sorry for the tiny little insects. They're cheating the spider population out of a well-deserved meal! (lol)

A feral cat has adopted us. He won't let us close enough to catch him- he comes to the door for kibble, but scoots if we get less than eight feet or so. I'd like to get him some meds to alleviate his scratching (fleas?) but I can't catch him. Since he was grown when he came to us, I think he's never been to a vet. Can I get him something for fleas and other normal cat parasites that I can put in his kibble?

I notice sometimes that my cat will scratch under her chin. Everytime I see her do that I wonder if she has fleas. I can't see anything and she gets a flea treatment every three months which is what the pack says to do. She doesn't scratch often but I noticed she did agian yesterday. I have already taken my cat to the vet with a "tick" which happened to be a spur/bindie so I don't want to look stupid again. If she does have fleas I will take her but I want to make sure she does first.

I have had my cat for over 3 years. She has always been quite low maintenance. Never had a problem with her tearing things up or peeing where she shouldn't. About the time my boyfriend started staying over frequently, and now that he has moved in, she pees on the bed weekly. Usually on his side. And I noticed after I started keeping her out of my bedroom, she started peeing on my guest bed too. What can I do about this? I am very attached to this animal, but also very attached to my stuff. I just bought a new temper pedic bed, and I really would be mad if she pissed on it. Someone please help!

People have kids with allergies but they are willing to give those animals a lot of love outside. There are different issues, but it's not one way or the highway. Try to ask someone who gives their outdoor animals tons of love and I promise you they would have them inside if something wasn't stopping them. Close-minded people need not respond.

Last August, I moved out of my ex-bf's appartment.

He had one cat and I had 2. My two cats had been together for 8 or 9 years when I moved in with him. The younger of my two cats really bonded tightly with his cat. I didn't want to split up my two, but I also didn't want to break the strong bond that his cat and my younger cat had. So after a long thought process, I asked him if he would keep my 2, as I felt it was best for all involved. He was given custody of my 2 cats with the strict understanding that they were not to be separated.

My older cat and his cat tolerated eachother but would often get in tussles, I figured it would mellow over time. Apparenly that did not happen. My ex mentioned to me that when he and his brother are no longer roommates that his brother was going to take my older cat.

I said no, if that were the case, I wanted the older cat, if not BOTH of them back. He said it was not my decision.

I say he is going back on our verbal agreement.
