Yes,two of my cats have done this.I think that because they threw up so hard, that they lost their breath for a moment and almost fainted. It has never happened any other time, only when they have thrown up.Since yours has had a seizure in the past, you should probably call your vet and ask why she does this.I'm going to ask mine the next time I'm there.

Charlotte, I have a cat and when it was a kitten, it became weak and was walking wobbly, collapsing at times too. I got worried and I had to call the vet. The vet told me the cost that I could not afford and told them that I did not want my kitten to die. So, one guy told to me to keep it warm and give it either tuna fish water or Gatorade with an eye dropper. (I gave it Gatorade instead.) He ended up filling the surgical glove with warm water and wrapped my kitten in a towel with it. It worked and now, my cat is doing very well. So try giving your cat some Gatorade with an eye dropper and keep your cat warm. Gatorade has all the vitamins and other things in it. See what happens. Your cat should get better in about a few weeks. I wish you luck and hope this helps.

It sounds like your cat may be having seizures and the vomiting is a side effect of them. I think she needs to be evaluated right away. Maybe by a specialist. It's not right to let your cat suffer like this. It's possible the Vet can give her a medication that will help her. I hope you find out what is wrong with your kitty and get her feeling better soon.

Maybe it would be a better idea to find out why she's throwing up. Sometimes they throw up so violently they can't handle it. Make sure you give her hairball remedy to rule out hairballs. Then watch her when she's eating. Sometimes they just gobble the food down without tasting it and their stomach rejects it. In that case you could give her half now and half later to see if it keeps her from throwing up. If that isn't the case she could have a sensitive stomach. Your vet would be your best resource for the kind of information you need.

You mean to tell me when you took her to the vet right after she had a seizer that he didn't explain anything to you about seizer's?
To me it sounds like your cat is having seizer's. The throwing up is most likely part and parcel of her seizer's. Cat's don't fall over on their sides because they throw up. A this point you can count on when your cat throws up she will or is having a seizer.
When I had my dog, she to had seizer's. After awhile I could tell when she was going to have a seizer. She eventually had to take medication for seizer's.
Take you cat back TO ANOTHER VET and describe in detail about what she does when she throws up so he/she can determine what's going on with your cat.
Don't delay too long about taking your cat to the vet. She may need to be on medication.

I don't know, but surely there's something wrong with your cat. Please, take her ASAP to a different vet to have a second opinion, this is not normal.
Good luck !
