Cats really don't do anything. You can't walk them, or play with them at the park. Whats the point?

i know cats can be domesticated and taught tricks too, but dogs can be trained to be odedient, and catch objects. why can't cats be taught the same? is it because they have different intelligence?

Has anyone's cat ever had a bad reaction (fur falling out/scabbing due to scratching in area of application) to Frontline even if the proper product (for cats-not dogs)was used for appropriate age (12 weeks old atleast)? If so, what did you do (besides obviously taking to the vet which we are doing)?

I have a balk and orange cat. Super cute.
I was thinking of names for it and can't find the perfect name.
This is what I have come up with so far:
Samoa or Nania
Any cute unique names are welcome.

What's the difference between killing a chicken and using it for food than doing the same with a cat?

A cat is cuddley wuddley?....give me a break.
I am sick of all these people and their nonsense.

I just got a kitten, and I found out I was allergic! He isn't neutered yet, could that be the reason? Also, I read that female cats produce less Fel d1 (the allergen) than males. Is that true?

My cat LOVES the outdoors, but she is an indoor cat. So I got her a harness, because I really want her to be outside and be happy. I know cat's aren't made for a leash, and when I put the harness on her, she was going crazy! So right now, I'm putting it on her a few minutes at a time, and giving her treats and petting her like crazy, do you guys have any better methods? thankyou!

I've never had this problem before, always had cats. I have a covered cat box. I clean it every 2 days or so. But I changed brands of litter & the last 2 I bought, Scoop Away & Fresh Step, when I try scooping it out it is like trying to lift thick clay mud. It is all wet. My cats can't be peeing that much, and always before it would just turn into a solid clump that I would lift out. I changed it again 2 days ago, checked it the next day, & it wasn't mud yet but it was definetly getting wet & it was mucky already. It has been really humid here lately & I wondered if that was making it worse. I rarely even see my cats in the litter box so they can't be peeing that much. I just changed it again and left the cover off of it to see if that helps. Any ideas or suggestions will be apprieciated. Thanks.

My husband rescued a kitten last night. She has an extended belly (I assume from her not eating) which she is eating now, and she has yet to use the bathroom once in about 20 hours. She was in bad shape, absolutely covered in fleas, but we bathed her and she clean. She looks to be 4 weeks old. When she is layed on her back a small what seems to be air bubble pops out in the lower part of her abdomen, and it is about the size of the tip of my pinki finger. It is soft and gives easily. What could it be? Please no useless comments.

My mother has several outdoor cats. The new neighbors find them to be a nuisance. They claim the cats terrorize their cat, which they now keep inside. They also claim the cats do damage to their yard (but offer no evidence). They call my mother an unresponsible pet owner for not controlling her cats trespassing.

I have two questions. What should a responsible pet owner do about cats trespassing on a neighbors yard? And what rights does he the "victim" have against these cats? He has threaten to harm them.

Thank you.

Hi i have a 18 month old female cat. We have been looking after my friends 8 week old female kitten and my cat fell in love with her and they got on great. She went back yesterday and now my cat seems very lonely and upset. We were going to get a kitten but we kept putting off but now we are definatley going to get one now. The only problem we are only coming across males. I have heard that Males spray alot and are not very clean. Also would my female cat get on with a male one??

Thanks in advance xxxx
