Try cat foods that use novel proteins. This means unusual meats that a cat wouldn't normally eat.

Venison is often used for sensitive systems, but mainly because it's not typically eat by cats.

Look at the Nature's Variety Instincts line. They have several novel proteins and your cat is sure to enjoy at least one of them.

Did he always vomit after eating and is it every meal? Id check with another vet if these are the case. Is the cat losing weight quickly? Not a good sign in cats.

science diet has a sensitive stomach formula and royal canin does as well I believe. Some cats do vomit right after eating . Mine did often throughout her life
and its pretty normal for some but she didn't do it every time she ate just every few days. Do you leave the food down all the time? I do and they do fine. Ive seen cats gouge themselves and vomit when food is restricted. Any change in food though should be done slowly over time by mixing a small portion of the new with a bigger portion of the old and slowly reducing the old and increasing the new.

I have a young female cat that was vomiting for no reason and the vet put her on feline id. This did stop the vomiting but you have to get it from the vet. Otherwise I've had luck with science diet. It doesn't boast ingredients like Nutro (meaning no by products) but she never got sick off of it. Good luck.

Siamese cats are so known for doing this that Royal Canin made a food that helps this problem.

It's called Royal Canin Siamese 38, and a bag costs $11 but it lasts a whole month for one cat. Works good too, the upchucking of partially chewed food has slowed way down.

If your cat keeps throwing up, ask your vet about a hairball, that`s in his stomach that he cant cough up. That happen to my moms cat. The poor thing almost died, before the vet figure out what it was. The best cat food you can feed your cat, is science diet. They also have it for sensitive stomach. Its vet recommended. Also if cats eat science diet, their poop don`t smell. That is if, that's all, that is in their diet.

Try Science Diet Sensitive Stomach. Science Diet has also proven to be a great brand for cats.

Or you can maybe get a prescription diet from the vet that might help.

I just had my cat visit the hospital for this. He's 4 though. They told me to bring in a stool sample, so they could see if it's heartworms. They also gave him a bland food, that is special for sensitive tummies. My kitty's all better now, so i guess it worked! The only other thing it could be is that he got into somethine he shouldn't have. And the worst possibility is that something's wrong with his blood. Contact your ve again if he keeps it up.

Purina One cat food for Sensitive Systems or Purina One Hairball Remedy. My old cat tolerates the Hairball Remedy very well.

There are foods that are formulated specifically for sensitive tummies. I've had a few kitties with that problem, and there is a Purina One formula that they could eat- and most of the time, have it stay down.

If that doesn't work, try finding a formula with as few synthetic additives such as flavorings and dyes as possible.

Good luck!
